A five minute job. I have him on video. Don't trust these guys in your home or business. They're scammers. Beware."

"ght I was going to get an estimate. Before I knew it the technician started work. Told him to stop any more work. He did not get permission to do any work, he was not told to do any work. Also, I was not given an estimate of the work to be done beforehand, nor offered a contract for work to be done. After he was told to stop, he stated the cost would be $250.00, since he had already started work. After he called the owner, he dropped the bill to $238.00. I told him I was not going to pay that. He spoke to the owner again and confirmed the cost. I stated again I was not going to pay. He called his owner again for me to speak to him. We argued for a short time. I agreed to pay $100.00 just to get him out of my house that I should not have done. Fact: the doors were in the same shape as before---gaps around two doors, one actually worse because he lowered a piece of door facing (moulding) inside the top of the door that should NOT have been tampered with----to close the upper gap in that door. Fact: the technician spent time on the phone trying to get somebody to tell him how to fix the doors----he did not know how. Fact: This turned out to be a fraudulent scheme or scam whereby I was set up to be bilked out of money----they played it well. I do not know what category you really put it in----bait and switch or what. I am a 77 year old senior and I believe in honesty, integrity and kindness and I tend to believe what people tell me. I let my guard down on these unscrupulous people and it cost me. Very smart tag team operation. I did not receive any benefit from these people---now I have to pay someone else to fix my doors. One last thing. The technician tried to tell me the top of one of my doors had been unevenly cut off---totally NOT true. I BELIEVE HOME ADVISOR OWES ME $100.00 AND SHOULD PAY ME THAT MONEY. YOU WERE BOUND TO KNOW THAT THESE PEOPLE WERE UNETHICAL PEOPLE THAT YOU HAD ON YOUR LIST OF REPUTABLE CONTRACTORS AND YOU HAVE A GUARANTEE WHETHER IMPLIED OR STATED. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU DELETE THEM FROM YOUR COMPANY."
