Jonathan was prompt and efficient. He got the job done much quicker than expected especially that he was alone. He wasn't bothered by my nosy dogs which is a big plus. I highly recommend him and his services. When I need more work done I'll call him first.

Jon and his team are so meticulous with trimming and clean up. They did a great job with our over grown shrubs. Very easy to talk to and did whatever we requested. Friendly and hard workers. Jon was absolutely wonderful! He listened to what we needed and provided a plan with a quote within days. Even with this being right in the middle of their busy season, he came out and did the work the following week. My lawn looks so great! His idea of replanting the large bushes in the back was perfect! We've been trying for 3 years to get this lawn going. I'm so glad Superior Lawn & Landscaping responded to my request. I was very pleased with all work that was done to correct the erosion issue on my property. Jonathan was very prompt returning my call and scheduled an appoint to assess my problem the next day. He explained very thoroughly what was needed to be done to repair the sink hole, the price (which was extremely reasonable) and how long it would take. True to his word, he and his assistant finished the job sooner than planned, and then re-seeded my back yard. He was very courteous and professional. The work was done exceedingly well, and he patiently answered all of my questions. I have referred him to several friends and family, and will continue to do so.

Jonathan took on this big job for a reasonable price. I've attached before & after pics. What a transformation! They leveled the space, over 1000 square feet. The property sits on a slope by the lake and the ground is very hard and rocky. They had to cut down two huge tree stumps. They removed and moved around a lot of dirt and were even nice enough to haul some over to my neighbor's to help him level his shed. Once the steps and wall were built and the pavers set, they leveled the walkway to the steps, moved my rock garden over to fit the new space, redirected foundation and gutter drainage pipes, laid mulch and cleaned up. I'm so happy with the results. It took longer than expected but some of that was due to weather and I'm happy they didn't try to rush through it. All my questions and concerns were addressed in a friendly and professional manner. The cost I list here does not include the cost of pavers, wall blocks and some sand. Highly recommend Superior Lawn & Landscaping.

Awesome! So far so good. While we haven't had significant rain to determine if the drain that was installed handles the water running down the driveway, what I have observed works well. With the tree removal - glad i had the crepe myrtle removed and pavers put down in its place. Unknown to me or to Jonathan, electric wiring was run underground under one of the bushes that was removed. Of course, the wire was near the ground surface and tangled in the roots, and was accidentally cut when the bush was removed. Jonathan called his electrician. After consulting with me and a thorough evaluation of my options, the wiring was disconnected and the non-functioning (it didn't work before the wire was cut) light pole was removed. His guys were professional and pleasant. Jonathan provides his input, and guides, and allows the homeowner to make the final decision.

During the 90+ degree heat we were having they worked on the front yard for 4 days, it's what they consider a postage stamp sized yard. Also in this time, the young man they have working for them dug the strip drain by hand. The strip drain seems to be working great. Jonathan is a very nice guy, he will do and even re do anything, as long as you are happy with the end result.

I give Jonathan and his team an A for the quality of the work done and for the professionalism of the service. We have flat roofs which need good drainage to survive. Our French drain system was in bad shape- the corrugated pipe was sagging and holding water, two of the five drains were 100% clogged, the other two were 60% clogged. Jonathan and his team replaced the corrugated pipe with more sturdy PVC pipe. They chose very sturdy drain line fittings to attach the gutters to these pipes, which they did very securely. They were careful to make sure that there was an adequate fall in the laying of the PVC pipe. As it went around the house and toward the drainage point behind the house, they gradually sloped it, digging deeper and deeper trenches, so that all water would exit well away from the house. Overall, we are very happy with the work done and would recommend Superior Lawn and Landscaping Inc. for any of their services. I say this also since we have hired them for other lawn and landscaping work and have been happy with the results.

A strip drain was placed along the center of the courtyard and covered with decorative gravel and stepping stones. Additionally, trenches were dug from my downspouts to the drain to direct the runoff. The work was done quickly and professionally. Jonathon's team was very mindful of the surrounding plants and structures. Josh and Jamie hand dug the trench since there was a gas line nearby. Tim chose beautiful stones for my path and placed them perfectly. The drain is working well and I plan to have them back again for my next landscaping project!

Jonathan said it would be completed in 1-2 days. The work began May 31st and completed on June 13th. After working on it for 2 days with insufficient equipment and man power, he sent me an email on June 10th saying he 'd forgotten about the job. On June 12th, I heard this loud noise along with my house shaking. I saw Jonathan on a bobcat. I immediately went out and started yelling. When he turned off the equipment, I explained to him, he was about to hit a water pipe running out of my basement. Took him into the basement to show him. He busted not one, but two pipes..He also broke off 6 brick from the basement window ledge and broke two pavers. He attached a PVC pipe to one of the pipes running right outside the basement wall and left. Has never called, offered to repair or pay for the damage. Every time I run my dishwasher, washing machine, use my kitchen and/ or my basement sink, my basement has standing water that comes straight through the wall.

"This review is completely misguided. I have been in business for 17 years and I have never forgotten a job. I emailed this client to explain we were having the transmission in our truck replaced. This member responded and seemed to be very understanding. Unfortunately, this member never said a single thing about our work while we were on her property. We were at this project for four days and over those four days this member seemed to be very nice and pleasant. We removed over 3.5 tons of brick, block, wire mesh, and rebar. We worked in 90 plus degree heat for four days. When I priced this job this member never said one word about any pipes. That would have definitely changed the quote. The corroded lead pipe in question was encased in about 2 foot of concrete and wire. The fact is we strive to make our clients happy. It shows in our reviews. We have been a Super Service award winner every year we have been with Angieslist. This member failed to mention the fact that the brick on the window ledge was broken before we even got there. This member had every opportunity to say anything over the four days we were there but said absolutely nothing up until the moment we left and then wrote this review. She brought ice water and talked about the heat and seemed to be very nice at least outwardly. We spent 34 man hours there and dumped over three tons of debris and she sent us a check for $75.00. Once I read the review I immediately reached out to this member. I have made at least 4 attempts by email, and phone to rectify this members issues. The fact is the pipe would have broken no matter what precautions we took. It was most likely already broken in the footing. The steps as a whole had already collapsed and that is what broke the bricks on the window ledge. Surely this member knows that. I offered to replace the pipe numerous times and I offered to have our mason fix the brick at no cost. I offered to do the pipes on a Sunday or any day or time that was convenient. Had this member at ANY time said anything about these issues I would have made it a moot point. This member chose to write this review instead of just allowing us to repair a $10.00 piece of pipe and 6 bricks which were already broken for around $40.00. In all honestly, I don't believe this member ever had any intention of paying for this work. We are VERY easy to work with. I want every single client to be happy. We will do whatever it takes to make our clients happy. We simply can't rectify a problem though if we don't know one exists."

They did a great job, and initially under budget! Jon, the owner was very attentive to and honest about the hours his crew worked. So we continued on with some improvements and mulching. This was a multi-day operation and was carried out professionally and with care. Jon is very responsive and his crew responsible and hard working. My yard looks fabulous!
