"They came on a Saturday and diagnosed the problem at no cost. Then they saved us over $1700 by finding a replacement motor and controller and not buying it from Bryant/Carrier. They found one nearby and installed it on Monday. We had originally contacted one of the larger, established local firms who charged us just to diagnose the problem and wanted to order the OEM replacement. Even just replacing just the controller that way would have cost double what the motor-controller combo cost using All About. The markups on these parts is just ridiculous. All About Heat & Air earned my future business."
"Install went well. They were quick, prompt and professional. Always showed up when they said they would. Cost was right on the estimate, no surprises."
"We use Shear Comfort to perform routine maintenance on our units. This year they discovered the coil in the second level air handler was rusting badly and had developed a freon leak. Since the system used the old freon, which is getting expensive, and I had concerns about the compressor unit's long-term health, we opted to replace the system. The price we were quoted was reasonable considering the equipment and installation. Unfortunately, I was going on an extended business trip and was not going to be home when we scheduled installation. To further complicate matters, my wife's office is directly underneath whether the second level air handler resides in the attic, and the attic access is in her office. Shear Comfort showed up as promised, and did the installation with no disruption to my wife's work. She reported to me that she really did not notice them working above her, and considering she spends a reasonable amount of time on the phone, that says something. They completed the work as expected and the system was back up and running. When I returned home I inspected the work. If I had not known the air handler had been replaced, I would not have known any work had been done. The attic was neat, the work well done, and everything else left in as good or better condition than it was when I left. Same for the area around the compressor unit outside. Everything was first rate, they showed up as promised (around here, that is rare enough to be unusual), they used quality equipment, the price was good, and I know from past experience they stand behind their work. Shear Comfort long ago earned my loyalty, and they reinforced that during this job. I only wish their service area extended to my mother-in-law, who is 450 miles away! "
"Easy to work with, friendly, and professional. Found problems with the initial installation of our system by another company and fixed. AC now works properly."
"Mike's quoted 3 systems; the multi-zone Mitsubishi hyper-heat system was about twice the cost of the Trane single-zone std. heatpump. The quote from a 2nd HVAC installer for a standard Carrier single-zone heatpump system was only $1000 less than Mike's Mitsubishi system. I wasn't originally considering the Mitsubishi because of the cost but the Carrier-system quote changed my mind. It took two days to complete. The installers were efficient, professional and amiable. They did a good job and took the time they needed to install the equipment correctly and make it look good. The condensor unit was delivered to Mike's with a dent; they gave me the option of a price break or getting another unit shipped next-day. The Mitsubishi system they installed operates much differently from the 13 year old standard-heatpump-system it replaces; before they left, the technician took the time to explain what to expect regarding the system's operation and encouraged me to contact Mike's if I had any questions or concerns."
"Zach is one of those men you have a good feeling about the moment you speak to him. He came to give me an estimate a few days after I spoke with him and it was very reasonable. He and his crew of two others were so incredibly nice when they arrived. I had initially just needed the gas line for the kitchen range. The day before they were to arrive, I had a dishwasher delivered by Home Depot that was not able to be installed. I called Zach and left him a message asking if he could install the dishwasher as well. So with hardly any notice, they stayed an extra hour and did that as well. I was very happy with the work they completed and with how pleasant they all were. I will definitely be using All Ways for all my future plumbing needs! Honest and hard working! Thanks guys!! "
"They were able to come in, configured, and installed properly the water heater and the furnace. They contacted the company and registered me on the agreement. It was a lot better than I anticipated. I made them the contractor of my choice. I was lucky to find them."

Using heating oil to heat your home has its advantages, but it also has its disadvantages.
Consider these drawbacks before installing a heating oil system:
Heating oil prices fluctuate frequently
Risk of oil spills or leaks
Produces more air pollution and soot compared to a gas furnace
Regular maintenance required for equipment
Need to reorder heating oil consistently to avoid running out
Scale from hard water is hard to diagnose until it starts causing problems. If your area has particularly hard water, that’s most likely what your boiler is using. If scale build-up becomes a problem, it starts to cause decreased flow and heating, and eventually, valve failures as valves become blocked. Let boiler professionals know if you’re worried about scale and they can offer advice or implement a solution.
Probably not. Moving a boiler to a new location is a very different prospect from replacing it in the same spot, and significantly more expensive. Plus, boilers are typically carefully positioned in proximity to pipes and radiators when installed. Homeowners may want to move boilers to free up space, prevent freezing problems that have happened in winter, or solve a noise issue—but it’s a much more costly proposition.
The cost of heating oil fluctuates rapidly based on supply and demand, but the average price is between $4.00 and $4.50 per gallon, which means filling a standard 275-gallon tank would cost between $1,100 and $1,240. Much like automotive gasoline, the price of home heating oil changes constantly, so the only way to get an accurate and current price per gallon is to contact a heating oil delivery company. Some companies also offer contracts with a set price that should be an average cost over the contract term.
