Excellent service. Tech called when he was enroute. Upon arrival he explained what he was going to do & that if he found any issues/problems he would talk to me before doing anything. He did the servicing thoroughly in about an hour. He made one recommendation for a change to the air return but wasn't pushy about it. He said it was just an idea to make changing the filter easier. He also brought up another recommended system change/addition and we discussed future service options. Overall it was very good service. I would use them again.

Very pleased. They called minutes after I submitted my on-line service request and had a technician out within a couple of hours. Jonah, the technician was professional, pleasant, and thorough. He took the covid precautions as well. I needed one part, which perhaps could have waited, but he left it up to me without any type of sales pressure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend using them.

After contacting 2 referrals, the 2nd one got back to me 1st. They offered to come out for free but it would be 2 days later. It was gonne be below freezing both nights. The 1st o e called me and could come out within 2 hours. They did. They assessed my problem, left me heaters for my home for as long as I needed and set me up with a new and much needed heat pump. The other one almost caught on fire and could have killed me and my 2 granddaughters. If I had waited for the other company for 2 days, it would have been too late. I thank Quality Air for being my heroes and actually caring enough to come look and helping. Helping beyond their required job. Thank you.

Micheal was very focused to proactively complete the annual review of our A/C units. Changed all filters and made sure everything was working properly. Mike went through the checklist with me so I could understand the work performed. Kim was very helpful to work with our schedule so Mike could complete the annual service review.

Below is what the tech found and fixed from the invoice: "2001 Rheem gas furnace with ac. A previous company had diagnosed a bad txv and quoted him to replace the system. We inspected the coil together and found that there was no txv on the coil. At this point I had checked the pressures and filters. I stated that most likely refrigerant was the issue and asked if he wanted to charge it. He decided to add a pound to test. After the pound the pressure was coming up. We added another pound and got refrigerant pressure where it needed to be. Tested capacitor. Amp draw on compressor and fan ok. System operating properly at this time." He did a fine job and saved me $ thousands. My one complaint covers probably all HVAC's in the area - gross overcharging for R22 (the tech has no responsibility for this). The "going rate" seems to be $1`50/pound, so I ended up paying $300 just for that. As for honesty and competence - it is 5 stars. R 22 is very available in 10 - 30 # containers or $12/# used and around +/- $20/#. For future service, I just brought a sealed 10#container for $175.

As a licensed HVAC contractor, we're required to follow all EPA rules and purchase our R22 from EPA licenses suppliers. None of our suppliers offer used R22. Putting used R22 into a system can cause considerable problems in the future and is like putting used oil back into your car after an oil change. It is not in our clients best interest, and we wouldn't offer to do it even if it was available through our EPA licensed suppliers. For these reasons, we provide newly manufactured R22 to our clients from licenses sources at the best rate we can, which unfortunately is $150 per lb due to currently supply and demand even from the most affordable sources available."

The guy they sent out did a great job. He was personable and very knowledgeable. You could tell he was keeping himself educated. He also didn't mind me hanging around and asking a lot of questions during the process. I learned a lot more about my system...and that it's time to start looking for a new one. Even a great tech can't fix years and years of neglect from previous owners.

Purchase and installation of heat pump went very well. David came the very next morning after my call for help. He gave me the estimate on the best pump suitable for my needs plus all the equipment and labor to complete the job. The day of installation everyone arrived early. Each person had their specific part and each went right to work. The whole system was completed the same day. Everything was cleaned up and the old unit hauled away. Nick came to do the inspection after a week to see if all was running well. All were so friendly and professional. They did a great job. I have had a maintenance contract with Quality Air for several years and all the guys who come to my home have been friendly and professional.

Office staff was very prompt in scheduling the estimate appointment and keeping us posted as to schedule. Estimator, David, arrived promptly, and his inspection was thorough. He was very interested in giving us the most cost effective yet appropriate system and was very clear in his explanations of the features he deemed necessary. The written estimate was sent promptly, and the installation appointment was set up immediately. Communication throughout was excellent. The efficient and courteous office staff kept us posted every step of the way. There were no changes or delays. Installers arrived promptly and work was completed within the time frame estimated. Before leaving, they made sure we understood how to work the thermostat and were available to answer any questsions throughout the installation process. David also arrived at the beginning and reviewed the procedure and follow up expectations. Greg and John were very neat and clean, not only in the house but outside in the area they needed as work space. The following day, work was rechecked by Charles and appointments for final CO check by city inspector and Progress Energy were set up. This was a very pleasant and thoroughly professional experience in every way, and we are very satisfied.

Great. Marcus was on time, helpful, and answered all of my questions. He took time to explain things to me. I feel that he was honest and trustworthy, and felt comfortable with him. I will definitely call Quality Air if I need my furnace serviced again!

Did a great job, awesome value. He found 4 cracks in my heat exchanger. Luckily I have a home warranty, but if that doesn't come through, I will definitely get a quote from them.
