"Hi [Member Name Removed], thank you for your feedback. I understand your concern with the price of R22. As a licensed HVAC contractor, we're required to follow all EPA rules and purchase our R22 from EPA licenses suppliers. None of our suppliers offer used R22. Putting used R22 into a system can cause considerable problems in the future and is like putting used oil back into your car after an oil change. It is not in our clients best interest, and we wouldn't offer to do it even if it was available through our EPA licensed suppliers. For these reasons, we provide newly manufactured R22 to our clients from licenses sources at the best rate we can, which unfortunately is $150 per lb due to currently supply and demand even from the most affordable sources available."
