They will be there when they say and they safely take care of my property the way I requested. They are much better than a company i previously used. 2G responds promptly if I have any questions. "I had a MASSIVE tree that was "V" shaped in my front yard. I was made aware of the fact that it was beginning to split in the middle and the heavy side was leaning toward my house. I found Landworx LLC on Angie's list last night. I began to communicate with Matt Riley and expressed the urgency of the situation bc this tree would have absolutely destroyed my home if/when it fell. Matt was at my home this morning at 6am and had a crew there by mid morning today. They worked tirelessly all day long to safely remove the tree, haul it off, clean up debris, and eliminate the threat to my house. He provided me with insurance and licensure verification without any hesitation. I sincerely cannot thank them enough! Great people to work with at very fair price points and he absolutely does what he says he will do. Highly recommend! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

The typical lifespan of a Bradford pear is relatively short, only 15 to 25 years. However, these trees have issues long before their life is over. Due to their soft wood and fast-growing branches, Bradford pear trees often split around 15 years, making them a risk for falling branches and more prone to disease.

It is possible to cut down a tree on your property yourself, but it is generally not recommended unless specific conditions are met. You should only consider this project if the tree is small (e.g., under 4-5 inches in diameter and short enough that you don't need a ladder to reach the branches), and you are experienced in handling a chainsaw. The tree must also be located far from any power lines, fences, homes, or other structures. Even for small trees, the work can be dangerous, and it's always advisable to have a spotter to ensure the tree falls correctly and no branches fall on you.

For any tree that is large, requires a ladder to access, or is near electrical lines or structures, you should always hire a professional. Attempting to remove a large tree yourself is extremely dangerous, poses a risk of serious injury, and could result in significant damage to your property.

Before any tree removal, it's also important to check your local and state regulations to ensure the tree is not historic or otherwise protected by your city.

The exact answer to this question depends on which region of the country you’re talking about, but according to various tree counts, some of the most common types of trees in the United States include red maple, Douglas fir, quaking aspen, loblolly pine, and sweetgum.

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

You need to remove all branches affected by Dutch elm disease. If your tree has several affected branches, you will probably need to remove the entire tree. First, consult a pro to be sure that you’ve correctly identified it as an elm tree. Make sure the tree is properly disposed of with a plastic covering or through debarking, chipping, or burning.
