"In the 8 months we've lived in our house, we've had 4 plumbers over the course of 10 visits or so and had spent over $1,200 in plumbing fees for people to give us a temporary fix and move on their way. There are a couple of things you can do to help prevent your French drain grate from clogging. First, keep yard debris clear so it doesn’t wash into the drain and clog the grate.
