"Tracy repaired several wall cracks in my home. He did excellent work, and he finished the job in just a few consecutive days. He is great at communicating, and we would definitely call him again for wall-fixing work!"

"The people were respectful and nice, but some mistakes were made in the initial bidding, and some of the work early on caused more costly repairs to be needed. I had to have workers and sales representative come back out on a different day to complete the job. I also had to agree to loosing some warranties and guarantees of work holding up over time and/or fixing the initial leak issue unless I agreed to pay double the planned costs to complete the project.properly. The solution recommended to us seems to he helping so far, but isn't very asthectucaly pleasing on the our front porch of our home. Also workers posted out a trip hazard on out sidewalk due to land settlement and I even mentioned it to our sales representative. Surprisingly he didn't offer fixing it or selling me options for fixing it. I found this very odd since it's one.of their companies biggest selling/marketing campaigns?"

Small jobs welcome

"These guys did a beautiful job on my floor. I called them to hopefully rescue me from a really poor effort from a company. When I described my situation the owner was extremely helpful and even offered to give me a lot of discounts due to the money I was out from the previous company doing a poor job. They came in to my home and treated it with the up most respect, even going above and beyond as to covering my walls and counters to ensure there was no damage to my home. They did not even leave any dirt tracks coming in. It was as if my floor was just secretly placed in my home. Truly I can’t give these guys enough credit for the speedy, quiet, and. Courteous work they did for me for such an extraordinary price. Thank you Jeremiah for everything! I absolutely strongly recommend this company"

Wall Repair questions, answered by experts

Rebar is a steel support that goes inside concrete to prevent structural damage over time. Concrete is susceptible to impact, weight, and tension. By inserting rebar into the concrete during the installation, you can help extend its lifespan and avoid hazardous situations where the foundation of your home gives way to tensile forces.

Failure to compact the soil during construction is the most common cause of leaning retaining walls. In addition, poor drainage can lead to excessive water pressure behind a retaining wall, pushing against it until it begins to move forward away from the soil it is holding back.

To maintain the integrity of your landscape, a retaining wall must be installed if the slope of the angle exceeds 35 degrees. The lean of the wall must be 1 inch per 12 inches in height to disperse the weight of the soil uniformly and guarantee the correct drainage of the soil.

Sand and gravel are two suitable options for filling behind a retaining wall. If you’re building your own retaining wall, you’ll complete this part of the process—known as backfilling—after you finish laying the blocks. Make sure not to skip it—otherwise, you could wind up with drainage issues, which can cause your retaining wall to collapse.

Most retaining wall installations can be finished in one to three weeks, but the timeline varies based on factors like wall size and material. The local climate and major weather events, such as storms or flooding, can also extend the project's timeline, as can any holds ups in the permitting process.
