"Greg is an amazing, fast, and hard worker. He replied to my request for service promptly, scheduled me at a time convenient for my schedule, came in and assessed the problem, and gave me a fair and accurate estimate of time and cost before setting to work. I had accidentally slipped and put my back through a wall, and it was a sizable patch, but Greg set to work and had it repaired well within his estimate, had everything cleaned up, and was on his way with a good looking patch done and sanded and ready for painting. No hidden surprises or unnecessary breaks during the work, no sudden fees, and he was great to talk to as well while we waited for the coats to dry! I cannot recommend this service enough. Greg is worth the hire for a great experience and fantastic results at a fair and reasonable price. Thanks Greg!!"

"Peter did good work for me. I appreciated his skills. He filled in holes around a new window frame with a plaster wall and painted entire room including trim. No paint drops left on carpet or anything! He also braced up my cracked basement support beams as my house was built in the 40's . Overall he is a 5 star."

"Tory & Dusty do it again! We had some doorknob holes (you can't even tell where they were!) and some simple scrapes on the walls we needed to have fixed - which they did with ease. Then they found a closet bar that wasn't properly anchored into a stud - they moved the anchor to a stud so it wouldn't cause further damage and fixed the drywall in the old spot. The toughest task we were concerned about was the seriously nasty looking water damage behind at washer hookup - the tenants didn't connect he hose properly and the water leaked behind there for MONTHS!! No problem for the Keller duo!!! They took off the soggy, damaged baseboards and the bottom 6" or so of damaged drywall in the laundry nook. Then installed new pieces and retextured it all to match. It looks brand new! We're getting new baseboards put on soon and it will look like it never happened! They pulled through for us again! Thanks ever so much, guys - see you for the next job!"

"this is the 4th project that I have used Foundation Recovery Systems for to repair my basement walls and the work is always spot on. On this project it was more wall anchors and Devon Brown and his crew did excellent work and were very informative about the work they were doing. They drove on very icy roads for three to four hours to get to my home."

Wall Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, including patterns, finishes, and plant integration for aesthetic enhancement.

Yes, to build a retaining wall, a permit is required. Similarly, any repairs or modifications to an existing retaining wall require permits. If the planned wall measures higher than 4 feet, most municipalities require designs and permits come through a licensed engineer. In some locations, if the wall is shorter than 4 feet, a permit may not be required. For the requirements in your area, contact your local government.

Rebar is a steel support that goes inside concrete to prevent structural damage over time. Concrete is susceptible to impact, weight, and tension. By inserting rebar into the concrete during the installation, you can help extend its lifespan and avoid hazardous situations where the foundation of your home gives way to tensile forces.

While vinyl is the least costly material for building a retaining wall, the most cost-effective method is to use wood or concrete blocks for a DIY retaining wall under 2 feet tall. Wood is inexpensive but lasts 20 years or more with care. Concrete can cost a little more but is stronger and will last longer with less maintenance.

Regular inspection for issues like cracks or leaning and ensuring drainage stays clear.
