"I have had an annual lawn irrigation contract with Metro since they installed the system in 1999. It has always went well and I am expecting the same result in 2021. The technicians have always been on time, professional, efficient and knowledgeable. This is one company you can depend on to perform as advertised and in accordance with their contracts. I highly recommend them for your lawn irrigation needs and service for existing systems."

"They are in process of transitioning ownership. There was some confusion on the scheduling process (I was given a date and time that worked and then they called me back and needed to reschedule). I was told "early afternoon" and was home waiting at 12:30, they arrived at 3:30. When I tried calling to get updated info, I had to leave a voice mail message a few times before I was able to speak with someone to get an updated time. The workmanship was good. New owner Chad spent about 10 min with me showing how to program our controller. I will plan to continue to use Aqua Irrigation for service."

"It was okay. I didn't see the people. They came, did their work and left. I wanted aerating and over-seeding. I don't know if they had gotten a big response for their advertised price but I felt they came out kind of late and they didn't leave much time for grass to grow in the fall. Actually, I was a little disappointed in how long for them to come out. It was actually later towards the end of October before they actually got here, maybe the second week of October. They were good. There wasn't any additional cost. The price was really good that's why I scheduled the service with them."

"Staffs was well trained and very responsive to my interests and concerns. Uniforms were clean and their attitude toward their work was beyond reproach. Highly recommend Invogreen for any lawn or yard construction.

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Hiring a professional lawn care service is generally worth the cost, especially if you have limited free time. Lawn care professionals can ensure your lawn receives the vital nutrients it needs to grow and thrive, guaranteeing a healthy, beautiful, and well-maintained yard with professional-looking results. While some homeowners enjoy doing the work themselves, hiring a company frees up your schedule. The decision also depends on your budget and whether you already own the necessary lawn equipment, as doing the maintenance yourself can reduce monthly costs. Additionally, many lawn care companies offer other services like snow and leaf removal to keep your property in top shape year-round.

In most municipalities, lawn care and mowing companies require at least a business license to operate legally. However, requirements can vary by location, and some areas mandate that landscaping companies be licensed, insured, and bonded, or even hold a general contractor license. Before hiring any lawn service, confirm they are fully insured. This protects you from liability for injuries on your property and also protects the company's employees. You can use Angi's state license lookup tool to verify a company's licensing status in your area.

Yes, you should water your grass after seeding it. During the first couple of weeks after laying the seed, you should water the lawn two or three times per day for 10 to 15 minutes each session. After that, you can switch to 20- or 30-minute watering sessions every other day.

Water your yard a little more deeply after a drought for about two weeks (while still avoiding overwatering). Continue to water in the early morning hours before 10 a.m. You'll also want to invest in some high-quality fertilizer to get more nutrients to your roots and help them grow back stronger and quicker. Look up your grass and soil type, or do a soil test, to see what type of fertilizer you need.

There are several reasons your grass may be dying that could be in or out of your control. The most common issues include poor drainage, under/overwatering, poor soil pH, low soil nutrients, low sunlight, or too much foot traffic.
