My kitchen sink faucet was leaking and needed to be replaced. I called Tony LaMartina because they are in my area and had a very good rating. The plumber came out and asked if I had a new faucet. When I didn't (I wouldn't have known what kind to get), the plumber said they did not have any faucets available and he would have to go buy one and it was going to cost more. He was back in a very short time. It only took him 30 minutes to put in the new faucet. After he finished , he told me the cost was $686 which was way more than I expected. I called the office twice to get a receipt to see why it was so much. I was told they do not separate their receipts between labor and materials. After talking to a couple of plumbers, I was told that amount was indeed way more than it should have been. I will never call them again.

Not well. Left bowl sink spout leaked almost immediately; plumber came back and replaced supply line though apparently that wasn’t the issue (see below). In addition, noticed that plumber badly scratched the marble the day earlier when remove faucet valve cover. Further, the flow from that faucet was greatly reduced thereafter. I didn’t pursue it because I seldom used that sink, forgot about it and then the pandemic hit. By time I followed up with Tony LaMartina, it was out of warranty. They were relatively indifferent and wanted to charge me for follow up. Ultimately I contracted with another highly reputable plumber I’ve used before who said the problem was when the old valve was replaced, some of the washer lodged in the spout and corrupted it. Said plumber should’ve known this at time of repair. In any case I now have to replace the very expensive Kohler spout and pay the labor to install plus todays labor to diagnose the issue. Plumber tried to save the current spout to no avail. So due to incompetence of previous plumber I’m basically paying double again and then some to fix something they broke. Very frustrating. Tony LaMartina Plumbing should reimburse me for the costs incurred here due to their negligence.

Pipes quickly fixed last winter. Today, James evaluated water heater and found leak at replaceable drainage valve, avoiding replacing the whole (expensive) heater. Strong work. Will use again.

Excellent! The repair person (Eve ,not sure of the spelling, sorry!) quickly located the source of the problem--it was not the sink (as I first thought) but it was part of the toilet. Eve eventually determined that it was not the pipe per se, but a leaky seal around the toilet itself where it met the floor. Problem diagnosed, and fixed!

You can believe the great reviews you see here for this company. This is my go to plumber from now on. This was the most professional experience I've had with any service provider. Mike the estimator was prompt. He was friendly. He explained the problem and the solution. He was there roughly 20 minutes and told me I would receive an estimate within a few hours by email. I got the estimate which was about 1/2 of another estimate I had received. After a quick phone call with Matt LaMartina, the work was scheduled. Kevin & Matt (the apprentice) arrived right on time. Again, both were friendly. They again explained what they would do. It took about 4 hours to do the work. They cleaned and swept up the work area. We shook hands and that was it! I was really impressed with this company from the start. They send a bio on the estimator before he gets there and another bio on the plumber doing the work so you know their qualifications. Everything was so professional. Would definitely recommend LaMartina and will certainly call them first if the need arises. Thanks to Matt, Mike, & Kevin!

Mike replaced the diverter in a kitchen faucet. We had another plumber in to do the repair a few months ago. He was unable to replace to diverter but still charged $198.00 for replacing the stems. The flow was only a little better. Mike replaced the diverter easily and professionally for the cost of the service call and 1/2 hour labor. He also answered questions and provided valuable information. I will not hesitate for a second to call Tony LaMartina Plumbing again.
