We had a credit this time so we did not have to pay for the minor repair. Technician arrived within timeframe and was courteous. He promptly made repair. For the past several years, we have used Water Tech/Pro Irrigation for start up / shut down services. It has been easy to schedule appointments, and technicians are friendly and on time. An added plus is that during the last couple of fall seasons, they offered to pick up canned goods and other food items for a local food pantry when they performed shut down services for the sprinkler system. I think this is a great community service and it makes it easy for me and other customers to donate food if they choose.

Installation went as planned. Entire system was completely installed in one day. The provider arrived at 8am and was finished around 7pm. Length of install was probably due to the area we live in which is rocky. There was limited disturbance to the lawn and about two weeks later the lawn scars are hardly noticeable. We did have them come back out to fix the lid on one of the pits which was no big deal. Took about 5 minutes. Would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

From the time I requested an estimate at the St. Louis home and garden show in January 2013, Water Tech/Pro Irrigation kept in close contact with my by e-mail and phone. I had bids from three companies. Water Tech's bid was not much less than the other estimates, but they gave me three choices of system quality and controllers. Their top-of-the-line system (better sprinkler heads, controller and extras) was less than the regular installation fees for the other two companies. The other companies had added costs for the back yard that Water Tech included in their bid. Water Tech also installed a second line of sprinklers at my back property line that sprayed up into the back yard. The other companies did not even offer this option. The installation was delayed about four weeks due to the rainy spring, but Adam Martin kept me informed of their schedule adjustments. They scheduled the utility marking for my property, and showed up as promised at 7:30 AM on May 17. Their state-of-the-art equipment sliced and pulled the pipes and wiring into my yard leaving no more than a four inch wide path--disrupting my lawn very little. At 9:30 AM Adam was done installing the lines and informed me that he was leaving to install a second lawn, and his work crew would finish my job. The pumber they arranged for came at 10 AM to install the water tap. He finished at 11:30 AM. While I was eating lunch, at about 1:00 PM, I noticed there were no workers present. I went outside and saw that the whole system was complete--including the installation of the control box, the water hookup, and the sun and rain sensors. The workers had replaced all the grass that was disturbed by the slicing of the turf. The manual was in the box and I followed it and ran a 3-minute test of each of the five zones they had installed. Everything worked perfectly and all areas of the lawn were covered. On May 21 Ryan Lazenby came by to go over the system controls with me and test and adjust each sprinkler head so it was perfectly aligned. It was only then that he presented the invoice for payment. I have been completely satisfied with the performance of my system--which has a five-year warranty, and includes the first winterizer service nxt fall.

They had a installation manager, and he was really nice. He came out before hand, and he came out many times afterwards. He did lot of follow ups on service after the sales and I was very happy with them. They tend to have same people working in the office, so there’s not a lot of high turnover and they remember who I am. They are really good with sending out reminders for start up accounts. I highly recommend it, and I would say they go with the water harvesting now. We looked at doing it ourselves, and we also looked at a couple of other companies and I liked their techniques better than the others. I have been using them for seven years and they haven’t tricked me off yet and that’s a pretty good thing. I would rate them highly.

We used Water Tech Irrigation to make repairs to an existing system for our newly purchased home. My first meeting with two of their managers was on 10/27/09. Both managers assessed our system for free and advised me to call again in the Spring to make the needed repairs. When I called again a few weeks ago as instructed, the same managers returned for another assessment at no charge. Our repairs were then made within a few days by their crew and the managers. Some of the repairs were backflow rebuild, wiring issues, rotors/sprays and leaks. Ryan and Jeremy, our job managers, were excellent. They answered all of our questions, recommended the most immediate repairs needed to our system and worked to stay within our budget. Along with their team, they worked diligently to make the repairs. They even carefully returned my planted pansies and landscaping stones to the exact same location (a few had to be removed due to repairs). I chose their service from recommendations on Angie's List. We had an excellent overall experience.

We purchased a rain barrel from MSD this year. Before we even purchased the barrel we determined we needed a downspout diverter kit to stop the barrel from overflowing and possibly flooding our basement. MSD sold the barrels and a little kit to hook the barrel to your downspout. Unfortunately they new very little about downspout diverters or where to get them. Luckily we heard about Water-Tech Irrigation Inc. in a class we took on rainwater harvesting. Water-Tech sold the downspout diverter kits. They were also very good about offering advice on how we could hook it up ourselves. When we got the kit home and opened it up we realized we had oversized gutters and were going to need an adapter. We called Water-Tech again. They were super helpful and a little apologetic about not informing us about oversized gutters. They ordered an adaptor for us. When we went to pick up the adapter they had even put together a life size model on how to intall it. There was no charge for the adapter.

Upon starting up our sprinkler system, Water-Tech found part of one zone had very low pressure. They sent out a manager to help identify the cause, which he was able to quickly determine to be tree roots strangling one of the underground pipes. They came back within a couple of days, found the region that was blocked and fixed it. They had to dig a bit to get to and fix the problem, but were very careful and the area of the repair shows little evidence of the work. We use Water-Tech every year to start up and winterize our system, and they are always punctual and professional.

I heard about them from Angie s list. All the companies that contacted me planned really hard. There was difference in price between them. They had same numbers with some difference which was not reasonable. There was lot of handwork. They were very professional. Their knowledge about the products was excellent. They are responsive and punctual.

They gave me an estimate. They came out and started the job. There was a delay. They were busy on many jobs. Then they came back. There was a problem with the city regulations so they had to dig a little deeper then normal. All in all they did a pretty good job. They came back this year and checked the system.

This company seems to know what they are doing. When they are starting the service in the spring or winterizing in the fall, it takes them about 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish. The people are nice and are easy to get in touch with if I have any problems.

Have had good experience with this company. Technician tests sprinkler heads and other parts during the service call (other companies we've used in the past have not always done this. Prices seem very fair.

The work went slightly slower than expected because the plumber had to tie into the main line in an awkward place, but overall it went very well. They were able to tie into, and fix, the existing system I had installed myself. They were able to install the system without causing any damage to the existing landscaping. Steve Krieger was very good about keeping us notified about what needed to be done.

WATER-TECH INSTALLED THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM IN THE LAWN OF THE SIX-UNIT TOWNHOUSE COMPLEX WHERE I LIVE PRIOR TO ME MOVING THERE IN 1998. OUR HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION HAS CONTINUED TO USE THEM SINCE INSTALLATION, WITH COMPLETE SATISFACTION. IT IS SUPER-EASY TO SCHEDULE ACTIVATION IN THE SPRING AND WINTERIZATION IN THE FALL, AND THEIR SERVICES ARE VERY REASONABLY PRICED. WHEN THEY ACTIVATE THE SYSTEM IN THE SPRING, THEIR TECHNICIAN CAREFULLY INSPECTS ALL SYSTEM HEADS AND OTHER COMPONENTS, AND IS PREPARED TO REPLACE WORN-OUT OR BROKEN ITEMS THEN-AND-THERE (I.E., NO NEED TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT). WHEN OUR LANDSCAPER INADVERTENTLY CUT A SUPPLY LINE THIS SUMMER, WATER-TECH WAS ON THE PROPERTY WITHIN TWO HOURS TO REPAIR THE BREAK. UNLESS THEIR SERVICE SLIPS IN QUALITY IN THE FUTURE, I DON'T ANTICIPATE USING ANYONE ELSE.
