"Kyle, Nick and the team have done a great job adding insulation to our attic (and even removing some bad stuff). Good communications, (Josie provided e-mails) discounts, attention to detail, promptness, neatness by covering floors with plastic and vacuuming when finished. The pictures were a great help as well. The invoice was "as bid" with no surprises and provided various payment options. We did not mind these guys being in our home! This company understands how to do business responsibly."

"I know a lot of people hate them, but they've always been, pretty much with anything that has gone wrong, they've been really responsive. We used another one previous to them, I can't remember their name, I wish I could because I really would want give them an "F". American Home Shield has been good. The last time we had something done, it was just over what our deductible was, which, I want to say, is like $100. They pretty much covered everything else, which was a few hundred dollars."

"Wayne called me the day before to confirm time...and what materials were needed. That was wonderful.

He showed up right on time and worked so hard. It was very hot in the attic but he stuck with it until all the insulation had the hangers installed on them. He gave me good advice about what else I might need to do. Now the insulation isn't hanging off the roof and on the floor.

He also fixed the slats on my bed. Sounds sort of weird but my mattress was sagging so badly. Wayne built supports for the slats so the middle of the bed wouldn't sag. I'm amazed....we thought we were going to have to buy a new bed because this was worn out. not so. The slat supports fixed the whole problem."

"They were very professional and accommodating. . They were here when they said they would be and completed the work in the projected time. They saved us money because we thought that we needed insulation and they found that we had plenty and there was no need. We found that their siding was of very good quality. They even worked around the bad weather."

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Depending on where you live and the conditions of your basement, you may not need to insulate your basement. Your best bet is to talk to a basement remodeling company to find out what they recommend doing.

Insulating your basement can help improve your home's energy efficiency, but it will also increase the cost of your basement remodel project. The average cost of installing basement insulation is $2,400.

Yes, you should insulate behind shower walls. Insulating helps prevent heat loss, which keeps the shower or tub from getting too cold and helps maintain a comfortable temperature in your bathroom. Additionally, proper insulation and air sealing can help prevent wall rot and moisture buildup. It is recommended to use a high R-value rated foam insulation combined with a vapor barrier.

If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.

Reduces energy costs, improves comfort, and prevents ice dams in winter.

A vapor barrier keeps moisture out of the crawl space, while insulation reduces the amount of unconditioned air—and sometimes moisture—that enters the space. Coupling a vapor barrier with insulation can help prevent humidity and related moisture damage in a crawl space while also making your home more energy-efficient. Just be sure to use insulation that won’t get damaged from moisture, like rigid foam board or expanding spray foam insulation.
