Explained everything and did a great job

The guys did a great job! They were thorough and the job and cleaned up afterwards. In no time they were done and the area is definitely much warmer!

I have used A+ Insulation for two separate projects. Shelby, the estimator, was responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. The installation crew was quick and through. They were easy to deal with and they didn't leave a mess behind. Overall, I got great service and a great product for a fair price. I would recommend A+ insulation and I'd use them again.

I’m not a fan of writing bad reviews but as so many of us depend on the reviews of others, I feel it’s important to share my experience. I hope I’m the odd home owner but here is the gist of the story. After the installers finished sealing the attic, and before they blew in the insulation I wanted to inspect the work. I have roughly 25 ceiling fixtures, and within a short period of time I discovered 17 fixtures were untouched, along with many joints. The installers followed behind sealing all the untouched fixtures and joints I found, but as I’m no expert, I was concerned. I decided to call the company where I informed them of the deficiencies, they immediately sent someone over. Back into the attic we went where we were found another fixture and interior wall top plates untouched. Ultimately the job wasn’t completed as initially agreed. None of the top plates on the outside walls were sealed, which were specially discussed during the inspection. I was informed those areas were difficult to get too. If you decide to use their services be willing to get dirty and verifying their work or accept the work may not have been completed. The installers were nice and professional and did a great job cleaning up. Unfortunately, I’ll need to hire another company to seal the outside wall top plates. They did add extra insulation at no charge. I hope this helps

It was wonderful they came over gave estimates and showed pictures. The installed the insulation and came back to clean up.

Insulation process went fine. There were just communcation issues with the sales and quoting. Area's I felt should have been insulationed and pointed out, were not done and they were not specifically listed in the quote. Sales person is no longer with the company. I felt they were a little higher than expected.

Ultimately, I give A+ a positive review because :: 1) The insulation was installed as needed at a fair price 2) Doug, their field manager, pays close attention to detail, ensures the highest quality, and wanted to make sure the job was finished right - and our sales rep, Jeff, did a great job putting together our estimate/telling us what we needed, and was communicative in putting us in touch with the right people when we were having issues. 3) They worked until it was ultimately done right. That said, the job was a comedy of errors/series of unfortunate events. Scheduling mishaps, the job took 5 times longer than promised, part of the job didn't get done at all the first time (but was caught and remedied thanks to Doug - we wouldn't have known without his honesty!), the drywall patching was mediocre (and took several attempts), amongst a few other issues. I honestly think our job was probably an outlier, as other Angie's List folks and folks I know in the "real world" have had a pretty seamless experience with them. And I understand it is a busy season which causes additional stressors on their end. So while I certainly was frustrated (to say the least) with certain aspects of our project, they really did work hard to make it right. If you hire them, and have any issues, ask for Doug. Doug rules, and worked hard to complete this project for us to where we are happy with the end result.

Installers arrived on time and were courteous and communicated well what they were doing. Job took way longer than initially stated but installers kept at it until the job was done. Overall quality of the job was acceptable, but I was disappointed that there were several damaged electrical wires as well as the attic insulation being rather uneven (but all to at least the specified depth or greater as far as I can tell). When I contacted the company about the damaged wires, they were quick to resolve the problem to my satisfaction. Overall, I feel like they did a good job for a great price. Not perfect, but a very good value, and I would hire again or recommend to others without much hesitation.

Inspection was completed by Matt; then a 3-man crew was on-time and worked diligently, completing the job in less than 5 hours.
