"My service went very well. The woodpecker wasn't just causing constant noise with its obsession with a particular point of the exterior or my house, but damage as well and kept returning daily. I was surprised upon calling around that most animal pest services were so expensive, but Critter Control was fairly reasonable.
My particular service man was also very polite, and checked for damage in many of the adjacent areas, and as I had just become injured, he provided a bit of extra help by tossing down some of the leaves clogging the gutters while he was up there. He provided excellent advice on ways we could help prevent future pest problems, and some tips on some wood rot he was seeing from the ladder which I managed to get fixed using another service provider I found on Angie's List.
I would definitely recommend Critter Control for their services to others here, and have already recommended them to several of my neighbors.

"April 1, 2019. I called Ambition Pest and Wildlife Solutions,. I spoke to Bret. He was professional and prompt. I thought I had a squirrel in my attic. I called around 4pm. He arrived around 5:30pm. I felt he was knowledgeable. He did not find any evidence of a squirrel and He explained why. I will definitely keep his card and refer him to my family and friends. Thanks Bret."

"Hired them to get rid of foxes that dung a hole under our back porch and lawn. It cost twice as much as expected, but was able to save us a little money."

"The last company I hired left us with a mice problem. However after about a month was brought under control. They mentioned a sure way to totally eliminate rodents but with my 100 year old home I couldn’t be convinced. They’ve done well so far."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

No, vinegar cannot kill bamboo. Common household chemicals like vinegar and even bleach are unlikely to kill bamboo, and they may only have minimal effect on bamboo roots. Since they can alter the chemical composition of nearby soil, we suggest avoiding these methods. Bamboo is very tough and not even all herbicides work well against it. To beat back bamboo, find an herbicide that’s specifically designed to work against tough grasses.

To keep wasps away from your home, you can consult with an exterminator about preventative measures and potential follow-up visits. For a non-lethal approach, consider installing a fake wasp nest, as this can deter wasps from building their own nearby. You can also use natural repellents. Wasps dislike the smell of substances like coffee grounds, cinnamon, and vinegar. Additionally, planting certain plants in your garden or in pots near doors can help repel them; these include eucalyptus, peppermint, lemongrass, and basil.

No, you should never vacuum or sweep up mouse or rat droppings, as doing so can release harmful particles into the air and increase your risk of disease exposure. Instead, wear gloves and a mask, spray the droppings with a disinfectant spray, let it soak for a few minutes, and then carefully wipe them up with paper towels. Afterward, disinfect the area thoroughly and immediately wash your hands when you’re done.

The safest ways to treat bed bugs are non-chemical, such as using diatomaceous earth, essential oils, and heat and cold treatments. Heat treatments are also one of the most effective methods because it kills bed bugs at all levels of life stages: eggs, nymphs, and adults. However, you still need to take precautions by removing items that can be susceptible to heat damage. You also need to remove plants and pets from your home during treatment.

Honey bees are most likely to swarm during spring and early summer, typically from April through June, as colonies expand and prepare for new growth. Swarming occurs when a hive becomes overcrowded, prompting the queen and a group of worker bees to leave in search of a new nesting site. During this time, you may notice a temporary increase in bee activity around your property.
