"The team did a great job informing me of a few areas in my home that was causing energy loss which we addressed. The key issue was to seal up areas in my attic and ensure rodents couldn't come in. "I was very impressed with the work I had done and the price of the work I had done. Stuart came and took pictures of my attic and measured insulation I had in the attic. Told me how much insulation he suggested to blow in. When finished he had pics of finished product. He even sealed around electrical boxes, lights, bathroom fans and vent pipes. We do not recommend fiberglass insulation for soundproofing purposes, especially if you are working on a room that’s part of your living space. Fiberglass insulation is dangerous, and the installation process is hazardous. It is also harmful to the environment. When there are so many newer, healthier non-fiberglass alternatives in the market, the lower cost of fiberglass insulation simply doesn’t justify the harm and danger it poses.

R-value stands for resistance value and is a number assigned to insulation that states how good the insulation is at heat transference (insulation). The R-value of injection foam is around 4 which homeowners will be happy to know is actually quite good. Another benefit of injection foam versus fiberglass foam is that the colder it gets, the more injection foam retains its resistance properties, whereas fiberglass tends to lose its efficiency in colder temperatures.
