"The owner of Atlas Foundations assessed my 75 year old home that had a wet basement with every rain since I purchased it in 2020. I compared his recommendation to 4 other foundation repair companies and chose to go with Atlas for their fair price, knowledge on the matter, good reviews & responsiveness. Although I could not wait to get this repair behind me so I could settle into my home completely, reduce mold exposure and not come home from work after a rainy day to shop vac water from the floor, I dreaded this week long repair. The foreman, James Watson and his crew showed up every day on time or early, patiently answered any and all of my questions, accommodated my smallest requests and made this stressful home repair go smoothly. My project included exterior excavation, exterior drain placement and carbon fiber straps inside. I admit that I am a picky clean freak and they guys did a nice job cleaning up behind themselves and were respectful of my property. I thoroughly interviewed 4 other foundation companies most of whom could get to my costly job "pretty quickly." Atlas had a 4 month wait and I am glad I waited. In my opinion, Woods Basement System, and Helitech Waterproofing are high pressure young sales people who want to "patch" a foundation issue rather than resolve it. Danneger & Son's Foundation was my next choice based on experience & reputation, but they wanted to charge TWICE what Atlas Foundations did. And the good news is, it rained for a week after Atlas Foundations did my repair & I have not had 1 drop of water in my basement. Thank you Atlas Foundations, Mike, Kim & James and crew!"

"Roberts Foundation came to find a crack in our foundation and perform a general test of the basement to see if there might be more problems.  He found the crack that caused our leak and found no other trouble spots.  He made several more suggestions to help prevent water pooling near the foundation.  he even gave us the name of a mason to fix a crack in our outside brick, who was wonderful as well.  He gave us the name of a lawn expert, too (that we have not had a chance to use yet.)
After we had removed the dry wall in the area, he came back again to confirm he had identified the entire crack.  He did and we made an appointment for the next week.  Two very professional and personable workers came and quickly fixed the problem.  It was much less expensive than I thought it would be.    I would use this service again.

"Arrived on time. Gave recommendation to fix the gas line and the results were great. Looks good and no leak. Also worked on a laundry drain line. To replace it would have been overly expensive so he recommended replacing with a standpipe line to the floor drain. That also works great, and he also cut off and capped it. "JIm came out promptly to provide a quote, but unfortunately could not because we have a finished basement with drywall covering walls in both of the leaky corners of our basement, and so he was unable to assess.     After removing the drywall, Jim came out again, gave us his recommendation and followed up with a quote within 2 days.    What Quacker's proposed seemed to make more sense to us than recommendations from other companies,  Jim was very knowledgeable about different waterproofing methods.  Heather was able to schedule the work to start within 2 weeks, and on a  Monday that we requested because it worked best for us.    Justin arrived 15 minutes early on the scheduled date, and 2 additional professionals arrived shortly thereafter.   They were all polite and friendly and efficient.    They had all of the work completed in one day, and did a good job cleaning up when they left.      "

"We built our house 20 years ago. We discovered the master bathtub was leaking to our family room. Glenn tried to just reseal the drain but found our builder used the wrong materials and didn't properly configure it. "The plumber arrived on time. Several days before he arrived, I had already removed the toilet and cleaned the remaining old wax from the bottom of the toilet. I had also removed the old, rusted and falling apart metal portion of the old closet flange, and all of the old wax rings. A portion of the old closet flange, which appeared to me to be plastic remained glued to the 3 inch I.D. black ABS drain pipe. The plumber glued a new closet flange inside and on top of the remaining portion of the existing old closet flange. He screwed the new closet flange down to the subfloor in three places. The subfloor was rotted away where the fourth screw should have gone. It appeared that two of the screws into the subfloor tightened down, but the third screw could not be tightened very much due to the condition of the subfloor. I had purchased a new wax ring and bolts at Lowes, as I had hopes of replacing the wax ring myself, but due to the rusted away closet flange, I decided I needed expert help and call the plumber. The plumber's wax rings were cold from being in the truck, so we used the wax ring I had purchased which was at room temperature. Also, the bolts that hold the toilet down, that the plumber had, did not have threads that went all the way to the head of the bold. Therefore, he used the bolts that came with the wax ring I purchased, since the threads went all the way to the head of the bolt. He installed the new wax ring and bolts and then set the toilet. He tightened the bolts, but the toilet would rock from side to side. He placed wedge shims under the toilet and between the wedge shims and tightening the bolts got the toilet secure and not rock. I wonder that since he left a part of the old closet flange on the drain pipe, and then installed the new flange on top, that maybe the closet flange was sitting too high, therefore requiring the wedge shims under the toilet. The toilet has not leaked since he installed the new flange and wax ring. I guess I'm a little disappointed that I didn't receive a bit of a reduction in the $409.00 charge since I had already removed the toilet and old wax ring, cleaned up the toilet and the remaining portion of the old flange and provided the new wax ring and bolts. I have concern that due to the poor condition of the subfloor, and that wedge shims were required, that the toilet may start rocking and/or leaking in the future."
