"Pleasant, Precise & Perfection and very PLEASED! Kyle put together a table, hung a very LARGE picture and installed security latch locks on the interior of my apartment door. He also brought a long a helper who was very nice too! They were very neat and clean and it only took an hour of time. I highly recommend Kyle and will definitely hire him again if I need anything else done in my apartment home!"

"They kept me fully informed of their work schedule and arrived when they committed. Installed a radiant barrier in attic, removed 50 year old compacted insulation, and blew in all new. Outcome was excellent."

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

Because egress windows are meant for emergency exiting and entering, they need to be an accessible size. The smallest an egress window is allowed to be is 15 inches in width and height, with an opening of around 4 square feet.

If improperly installed, an egress window can compromise your foundation’s structural integrity, so it’s important to work with a pro to ensure your foundation remains in good shape. Any money you may save on a DIY egress window installation may cost you in the long run if your foundation is damaged in the process.

They meet local code demands for escape routes, lighten basements, and aid in reducing overall humidity.

Yes, you absolutely need a permit to add a window to your house. Your contractor can likely obtain this permit on your behalf. Ask about this when getting quotes from multiple window contractors.

The entire window replacement process, from the initial consultation to the final installation, typically takes between four and 15 weeks. This timeline accounts for measuring appointments, ordering, and manufacturing. On the day of the job, the physical installation takes about 30 minutes to two hours per window. A full-house replacement can take one to three days to complete. Factors that can extend this timeline include the total number of windows, custom sizes, complex window types, second-story installations, and any necessary repairs to existing window frames or openings.
