This is the second time that we have hired The Painting Company.  The first time was for an interior job in 2012.  

This time they painted the full exterior of the home including pressure wash of the entire exterior.  They also made minor siding repairs as needed.  They painted all of the siding, the gables, and all window casings on both the ground floor and a very high second floor.  

Dave and Lynn (the owners) are very knowledgeable and personable.  Both times, Lynn has had good ideas to suggest about accent colors, etc and has helped us to select the paint colors. They have always done a quality job.  We will be hiring them back again this spring for our wood deck.

"his crew was here 30 minutes early stayed till the job was done. his crew was very professional and courteous did an excellent clean up after the job We are more than satisfied and would highly recommend Travis and the guys with Duraplex very reasonably priced and very high quality materials and workmanship

"Eric and his crew did truly exceptional work and built a 20x20 outbuilding for us. Eric was very reliable and came on time and completed the work as expected. He returned texts and phone calls promptly. He contracted the whole project and his concrete, electrical and HVAC people were all top notch and there were no delays - everything went smooth! "Jose came out and did our patio and did a wonderful job. Then we had him power washing our house , it looks 100% better than last time we had it done. I am thinking about having him do our Chimney. He is so professional and knows his work very well. Answered all my Questions. He is the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend him. Always on time!!!"

Deciding whether to stain or paint a pool deck depends on your budget, desired look, and the deck's material. Both options can work. Staining over a damaged layer can lead to an uneven finish and poor penetration. For best results, test a small area first and consult the stain manufacturer's guidelines.

Unless you’re using a 2-in-1 formula or painting over an existing coat of paint, it pays to apply a coat of primer ahead of your new paint. Decks see a lot of footfall and exposure to extreme and sudden temperature changes and moisture levels. The primer promotes better paint adhesion, moisture repellency, and a smoother finish, which means you’ll often need fewer coats of paint.
