Small jobs welcome

"We called several companies to get a bid on repairing the 14 bricks on the crown if the chimney. All but one and Sleep Easy took one look at our grand home and decided to bilk us for total replacement of the chimney to the tune of $4000+.
Sleep Easy immediately called me back, sent the installer right away for the estimate, including a reminder call the day before. Just excellent, personal service.
My husband used the other fellow because he was closer in location and we were in a rush to get it done, but that is the only reason. Excellent service with very high recommendations!! Thank you, Glenn, for your superb service!

"Came within 20 min. to give a quote at no charge. LJ is a master plumber, knowledgeable of codes, but still gave us a very good price. He showed up on time and did a great job installing a new gas line for my gas range...and also replaced the fireplace gas line, which was not code. Highly recommend."

"Fit me into their schedule and arrived promptly. Does not work on chimneys made from wood framing and siding; so, they gave me contact information for another company that does this type of work. Honesty and referral greatly appreciated."

"Very well! The man who came out to measure our home and recommend the correct size units was wonderful. The crew that installed the units were excellent too - they worked efficiently and showed us everything about the new furnace and ac unit. They removed all the old units and parts and left our home as clean as before they were here. They also explained that we will get a notice explaining how to contact the city so that someone from there can come out and do an inspection to be sure everything is up to code standards."

"Took his time to make sure it was done right, while also identifying some issues already present and letting me know. He found that the gas lines were not as tight as needed, so took care of that and also sealed the joints. Also, educated me on the need to have proper ventilation for the room."

"Sewer Surgeon responded immediately to our request on Angi for plumbing services. They were quick to set up an appointment for an estimate, and for the service. They did not rush the work and they did a thorough job of replacing old cast iron sewage pipes. Everything works great. Would call them again."

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

You can maneuver your gas grill into place, but you cannot connect the grill to your gas source yourself. All municipalities mandate that a certified plumber carry out this work, so you’ll have to reach out to a plumber or a gas grill installation company in your area. Given how dangerous a gas leak can be, gas lines and connections are highly regulated, so you’ll need a professional’s help and a permit to install a gas grill.

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.
