"Michael came out to do an inspection on our chimney before we went to use it. I am so glad he did. He found that there had been a fire in the chimney flu and it could have been a major problem had we gone to use it before getting it inspected. He was very helpful to answer all our questions and helped us tremendously. Great job."

"Raul installed two exhaust/light fans in two bathrooms including a bit of rewiring and all ducting in the attic. He was on top of the communication, on time and very fair priced. He's definitely a keeper in my address book and will be getting more work from me in the very near future."

"The guys did a great job and worked quickly! They relaid our whole paver patio and put a better foundation under it (it was installed poorly before we built the house). I felt like they were honest, incredibly hardworking and affordable."

"Tomas and Max did a great job. The over all cost for labor and supplies was very reasonable. Tomas had excellent communication during the whole process. Even checked with me early on during their build to make sure it was looking the way I wanted. Would absolutely hire them again for my next project."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Regular inspections ensure no blockages, structural stability, prevention from fire hazards, and maintenance of optimal heat venting, safeguarding household safety.

Some Christmas lights are marked as being “UL Safety Certified” or Underwriters Laboratories Safety Certified. This lab is a trusted source for determining the safety standards of electrical products—you should make sure your Christmas lights have this label. Brush up on other electrical safety tips before installing any lighting features.

They provide early warning, minimize property damage, and ensure safety during fire emergencies.

Chimneys should either be sealed or waterproofed, which is different from sealing off—closing at both ends—a chimney. Waterproofing and sealing are both crucial steps to take to prevent water damage and the chimney leaking inside the house. While waterproofing is more comprehensive, both help safeguard your chimney, extending its life span and preventing expensive repairs.

Yes, you should seal and cap an unused chimney to protect it from damage. Sealing the structure helps prevent moisture damage, which can lead to issues like cracks, spalling, efflorescence, and damaged mortar joints. Capping the chimney is also crucial to prevent blockages, damage from invasive critters, and downdrafts, while still allowing for proper air ventilation to manage moisture. For the best results, consult a chimney professional to select the right type of chimney or flue cap for your home. It's also wise to continue with annual chimney inspections to maintain the structure's integrity.
