"Paul was very punctual and professional when he came over to give me an estimate. He kept constant communications throughout the progress of the project and completed in the time that he estimated. He took the time to show me what I needed to know about the new door he installed and how to operate the springs. He also made sure to buy all the parts including a lock that I didn't know I needed so I wouldn't have to go back to the hardware store later and have to deal with an incomplete project. I'm very glad I had Paul working on my Storm Door installation."

Customers say: Quick response

"Jacob and Cody have been amazing to work with. We originally hired them to repair our stairs and have since contracted with them to install our kitchen tile floor, install electric in our kitchen island and to repair some of our drywall. Their team is very professional, their estimates are accurate and they do quality work. We plan to hire them again when we remodel our bathrooms."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, an electrical fire can start even if nothing is plugged into an outlet. While a correctly functioning outlet poses no risk, a fire can be caused by faulty wiring, damaged outlet components, an overloaded circuit, or other electrical problems hidden behind the walls. If you suspect a fault, immediately turn off the circuit breaker and contact a professional electrician to diagnose and repair the issue.

In most cases, having a fire hydrant installed on your property, whether it’s maintained by you personally or your municipality, will reduce your insurance premiums. Its proximity to any buildings on the property will reduce the time it takes to put out a fire, thus reducing the resulting damage.

You can let a fire burn out in a fireplace as long as you or someone else will stick around to monitor it until it goes completely out. This may take several hours. To prepare, stop adding fuel to the fire well before you’re ready to call it a night. If you’re using the fireplace for warmth, you’ll want to cover up in some blankets as the flame dies down.

Having a pellet stove can indeed raise your insurance rates since they're a relatively common cause of fires in the home. However, rate increases vary by insurance provider so you should reach out to yours to determine exactly how much your rates might increase with a new pellet stove install.

Regular inspections, using dry wood, and installing chimney caps help maintain efficiency and safety.
