We bought an aluminum fence from them in 2019. Fence is holding up pretty well but they took a shortcut on our gate where they painted over old fencing to make our gate with a different kind of paint than on the fence. Now after five years, that pain is peeling off showing the original paint color which doesn't match the fence. We have complained and asked them to come out three times, and they always say they will send someone to look at it but never do. Very displeased with what they did and how they are treating us now.

The team did a great job installing

We had a combination fenceâ vinyl across the sides and back of the yard and aluminum wrought iron gates and fence facing the front. Over 400 feet of fence installed in two days, the crew was quick and efficient while doing it correctly, no slouch work done here high attention to detail and the want to get it done right!

Not the same chesterfield deck and fence as years ago I would definitely recommend any other company besides chesterfield deck and fence there big name is all they have there work is so horrible

Chesterfield Fence and Deck repaired the storm damage to our deck from a year ago. We are extremely happy with everything they did for us. Melissa and Mustafa helped us get started and Suvad did the work. It was unbelievable how professional and courteous he was, and he went the extra mile a few times such as tightening screws that were not flush with the decking to begin with, replacing screws to the posts that were of more proper size, double checking replacement step samples even bringing us samples to make sure we were happy. This guy is amazing, ask for him! Thank you Chesterfield Fence and Deck!

Great job form a to z

Given the times in which we live, from time of initial deposit to start of work was 1 year. That said, the wait was well worth it. Matt and his crew were amazing. The quality of the workmanship and materials was A+++. We could not be happier with our new deck and porch. If someone from the Company reads this they need to realize that Matt is a very valuable asset to your company.

The screen room started at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. The crew cut the roof boards too short, so they left for the weekend and covered the hole in our roof with a flimsy tarp. Severe weather was predicted and the rains came. The rainwater destroyed our newly remodeled kitchen down to the studs...$47,000 worth of damage. The crew comment was We did not make it rain. Superiors assured us that CFD would take good care of us. We were forced to have tradespeople in and out of our home for the 165 days it took to replace the kitchen...during a pandemic. We met with the leadership and eventually I was told that the company would pay us an inconvenience payment for all that we had been through. Their insurance company refused to pay the damages but lost in arbitration. Then I was told there would be no inconvenience payment. So we are now stuck with an 18% increase in our homeowner insurance because this situation caused us to lose our zero claims deduction. We would never recommend this company to anyone, and we will make sure that our story is shared with others.

After a long lead time the fence was installed in one day

The workmanship was great and patio looks great. Problem is that they tore up a lot of our existing lawn and the repair they did was not good at all.

Do not use this company. They are very slow to fix repairs if they ever show up at all. They do not back their workmanship. Beware!

We are in the queue to get the deck built, so I do not have a complete picture for rating. The Pre-build & Design Phases have been wonderful. The pricing is somewhat high, but I chose them for the perceived quality. We will see if the choice was correct. If you talk with them, make sure you ask about the extra cost items when they quote you the deck, like the "Boxing" on the stairs and lighting. In order to get the quality I wanted, I had to consider and add options during the design phase, which was after the contract was signed.

From the initial sales call to the completed deck, someone from the company was in contact with us constantly. Everyone was very helpful (even as we changed our plans a few times). Our construction crew was thorough and responsive to any of our requests or concerns. The Craftsmanship is excellent. Would highly recommend them. Very happy with our deck.

The company were in constant communication with me about my project. The team that installed were excellent to work with. My personal request were honored! Excellent experience.

They cheated me on my 6-foot chain-link fence. I paid to have the post-installed every 8 feet, but they are 9 - 10 feet apart. As I have more than an acre of land they shorted me a lot of posts I paid for. The gates are so far from the posts that my small dog can get out of the yard. They were my most expensive bid, but they were recommended by a family member and I had them do the work.

Kind of pricey, but excellent quality of work. Timely and thorough with what they did.
