"Barker's has an experienced crew, including an arborist, and Steve and his crew (three) always asked me which larger branches I was comfortable or interested in removing. While I wasn't looking for the cheapest job price, it was competitive. Only one minor issue, was filling a hole in the trunk - it seeped out. Update 7-10-2018: the tree trunk hole wouldn't hold the foam filler, ants had infested the three combined tree trunks, so the tree was cut down. The price for the 40 ft maple with three trunks was reasonable; our only concern is the heavy lawn wear from the 4-wheel skid steerer used to haul the big branches and trunk sections from the back yard to the street, so the grass needs to recover. The stump grinding is still pending. Update 9-26-2018: grinding of two tree stumps was completed by Barker's on 8/28/18. Lawn repairs (sod/overseeding and fertilizer applications) have been made by the homeowner in mid-September for areas where tree removal and stump grinding was performed."

"This company and crew are nothing but miracle workers. I moved into a home where the trees clearly hadn't been trimmed for a long time, and they were huge, tall trees. They trimmed everything up nicely, cleaned up everything, and even did more. The previous owners left me with a big brush pile. They took care of that for me too. "We were amazed by the service we received from A&R Tree Service and Landscaping. Armando came out to discuss options and provide an estimate the morning after we spoke on the phone. His crew was out the same afternoon to remove a huge limb that had broken off our silver maple during the storm but was still in a dangerous position. The next day of good weather they returned to do trimming on three of our trees. Armando has a good knowledge of what is healthy and not healthy for a tree and also what can be done to try to reduce risk of property damage. His crew worked like a well-oiled machine. They had two climbers who were able to get into all the areas of our maples to trim things that other companies could not reach. They were obviously very experienced in roping off the large limbs and carefully lowering them to the ground, skillfully maneuvering them around our three power and phone lines. They cleaned up well, raking the entire area when they were done trimming. We look forward to using them again for any future tree and landscaping needs."

"They arrived on time, did the job and cleaned up all the tree branches and leaves, taking them with them. The company owner was a little over anxious in wanting to increase the amount of work they were preforming to get more money for the day. The only real issue was the owner came and went and a limb was dropped on one of my fences, but there was little damage. I would suggest that his employees pick up after themselves, I picked up four water bottles and a big gulp cup scattered around my yard. I recommended this company to my neighbor who also had some work done."
