"Barker's has an experienced crew, including an arborist, and Steve and his crew (three) always asked me which larger branches I was comfortable or interested in removing. While I wasn't looking for the cheapest job price, it was competitive. Only one minor issue, was filling a hole in the trunk - it seeped out. Update 7-10-2018: the tree trunk hole wouldn't hold the foam filler, ants had infested the three combined tree trunks, so the tree was cut down. The price for the 40 ft maple with three trunks was reasonable; our only concern is the heavy lawn wear from the 4-wheel skid steerer used to haul the big branches and trunk sections from the back yard to the street, so the grass needs to recover. The stump grinding is still pending. Update 9-26-2018: grinding of two tree stumps was completed by Barker's on 8/28/18. Lawn repairs (sod/overseeding and fertilizer applications) have been made by the homeowner in mid-September for areas where tree removal and stump grinding was performed."

The company owner was a little over anxious in wanting to increase the amount of work they were preforming to get more money for the day. The only real issue was the owner came and went and a limb was dropped on one of my fences, but there was little damage. I would suggest that his employees pick up after themselves, I picked up four water bottles and a big gulp cup scattered around my yard. I recommended this company to my neighbor who also had some work done."
