KC Arborist Tree Care

Team arrived when they said they would. Very safety conscious and didn't cut any corners. Did above and beyond the required work in the agreement, even to getting downed limbs and leaves off our two story roof from a previous storm. Cleaned up all debris at end of job and made sure we were satisfied with the overall job.

They did an amazing job with our gigantic older trees. Many neighbors had large limbs down after the storm, but we had none down. We got numerous quotes and were most impressed by the responsiveness of Jeff and his team, and their price was by far the best. They were quick, did an amazing job, cleaned up all debris, and even trimmed down a couple ovegrown bushes. They left our yard in a better condition than it was in before they arrived.

KC Arborist provided a quote and their bid was by far the most competitive bid that I received. Regarding scheduling, I did not respond back for a few months, however, as soon as I asked to schedule they promptly scheduled and showed up onsite and completed work (all within 7-10 days). The team that came and completed the work onsite was very polite and worked diligently the whole day. The estimator was one of the crew members, so, it was easy confirmation. I recommend their work.

The scheduling process was very convenient. When the crew showed up they went over the requested service to confirm the details. The work was performed well and we are very happy with the results. We were most impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail the entire crew showed during the visit. They took care not to damage an area of the yard with newly seeded grass. All the limbs and even the leaves were picked up before leaving. We will definately be using their services again.

KC Arborist was professional from the start. A receptionist answered the phone and I had a call back from an Aborist within the hour. He came out immediately and bid the job within 10 minutes on my email after seeing the tree that I needed cut down and removed. The team came out a week later and were punctual, professional and did a great job cleaning up and were done within 2 hours. I was very pleased and will use them again.

Our entire experience with KC Arborist was overwhelmingly positive. I posted an inquiry through their website explaining what we wanted done and asking them to contact us to arrange for an estimate. One of the trees was a huge locust tree in the front yard that was significantly overhanging the house, the other was a Bradford Pear in the back yard. I assumed we might hear back from them in a day or two. Less than 30 minutes later I received a comprehensive, detailed estimate from Jody in my inbox. In less than 30 minutes, he had reviewed what we wanted done, come to our house and assessed the trees to be removed in the front and back yard, typed up a very detailed scope of work and estimate and forwarded it to me for review. I am still amazed! Jody was patient with my follow-up questions, and we quickly agreed to move forward with the job. He placed us in their scheduling system, and we heard back in less than two weeks that they would be doing the job the following Tuesday. This had given us the time to have the KS One Call people out to mark all the utilities. They came right on time and the day they said they would. When the crew arrived to do the work, they were extremely professional, introduced themselves, and got right to work. They brought two large bucket trucks, bobcats, stump grinders, chainsaws, blowers and everything else they needed. You couldn't have rented all the equipment they brought out for the price they charged us to remove the trees. You could definitely tell by watching them that these guys were professionals and really knew what they were doing. They were able to remove the locust tree without touching the house - how I don't know. They also took at the roof while up there to ensure there was no damage, and even cleaned out our gutters when they were done. They were very thorough with cleanup - all that was left was two areas of mulch filling in the holes where they had ground out the stump. They were done in half a day, and it looked like they were never there, except two huge trees were gone. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with KC Arborist from start to finish, and would definitely hire them again. In fact, we plan to contact them to plant our replacement trees in the fall. Great work, guys!

Went very well. They removed one large tree and trimmed two smaller trees. They did a great job and the price was reasonable. My only isse was that it took them a long time between when they gave me the quote and when they actually did the work. Otherwise, it was great.

Very well. Arborist Jody evaluated all trees, made recommendations, answered questions. Was pleasant and knowledgeable. Estimate submitted by email with ability for us to accept on their website, all done within 2 days, and with approx timing being several weeks away for work to be done. Company did call about a week out and crew came as promised. Because they were able to use the bucket truck, they were done in an amazingly short time. All debris was shredded on-site and hauled away.

It went exactly as I expected which is why I call K.C. Arborist. They always do a very nice job and clean up afterwards.

Jody answered right away when I called Friday morning, was at our house in 15 minutes to give me an estimate, sent the estimate immediately, and the limb was gone by noon. We were very pleased with the service and the price. The only negative thing I could say is that we were told by KCPL that some more limbs would need to be trimmed before they could put the line back up. I called KC Arborist again but no one ever called me back. I ended up buying my own pole saw and cutting the limbs that were in the way.

They provided good service for me. It was a fair price. It was a good price. I would absolutely use them again.

Our trees were sick. The fixed it in the first year. Now they come out for maintenance. They've come out three times and sprayed the trees. They've gone from Brown to Green. The trees had Diplodia Tip Blight, previously known as Sphaeropsis tip blight, is a common fungal disease of stressed conifers tree. The last couple years we've seen trees in the neighborhood that have gone bad or been taken out. This is a constant thing.

They did a thorough job well

Very well. No damage to surrounding fence or structures and clean up was good.

Their work ethic is tremendous. They were punctual, polite, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Any questions that I had were answered to my complete satisfaction. I would recommend them for anyone who needs stump grinding. As a matter of fact, I trust them so much I have decided choose them to take care of my mother's trees.

They quickly and safely trimmed the tree down without affecting my close by fence and shed. When they had finished the cutting, the crew cleaned all the trunk pieces, limbs and debris. In addition the crew provided an entertaining display of their skills and equipment for me and a neighbor as we watched from the back yard patio.

KC Arborist was great to deal with. Jody came out in October to give me a quote on the three trees. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He did give me warning that it will take 3 weeks to get the work done because of the time of the year. The quote was sent to me electronically through email which was nice to see everything in writing. I was able to electronically agree to the work and to get me on the schedule. About three weeks later I received a call to set a time for the arborist to come out and trim the trees. They were great about working around my schedule. The team showed up in two trucks and they walked through the work with me and answered questions that I had. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to trim the trees and took every protection to keep the heavy limbs from damaging the house. I asked to cut a couple of additional limbs and they had no problem helping out. The team was able to quickly pick up all the limbs and clean up the work space. I was really impressed how the trees looked. They did a great job and were very responsive. The price and level of work was great and I highly recommend them for any tree services. The bill came to me in the mail and I had the option of paying through mail or via PayPal. The PayPal payment was easy to navigate and was able to handle it quickly. If I had any questions their main office was quick to respond.

I got quotes from 5 companies. Hired them because of honest straightforward advice given by Jeff Sifrit. Their crew arrived on time and finished the work very fast. The tree was very close to home so I wanted to hire someone who was professional and safe and this company fit the bill. Very happy with their service. The only issue I had was that I had to wait 3-4 weeks to get this done. Also, they honored Angie's list coupon too.
