Hwh failed first inspection, but was corrected in same day. For the premium price paid, these issues should not happen. Quality 4.5 because of these issues, same goes for value. Customer service is very good. They are very professional, work looks very good, clean worksite afterwards. I would recommend, but don't think about negotiating price with them. Their labor is very high."

"Frankly, I rarely give reviews but this encounter warranted it. Here we go: On a 100 degree, sweltering Saint Louis afternoon, my 23 year old HVAC system finally called it quits. I knew I was looking at a full replacement and a repair would simply cost more money in the long run as the replacement was imminent. I did my due diligence and got multiple bids. I contacted John Hively and he said he could make it out that night (it was already 6:00 when I contacted him!) He showed up just 30 minutes later and did HIS due diligence checking all the components of the HVAC system before offering his diagnosis, verdict, and the cost of parts and labor. I can confidently state that John Hively provided the best residential service of ANY kind I've received since being a homeowner.
