"Mike & JR did gr8 work rebuilding my 60'x8' deck at a very good price. They ran into a few problems but worked them out like they weren't even there and never stopped. Pleasant, professional and knowledgeable and went above to complete the job on time. Very happy with the results and Highly Recommend 2 Bros Construction LLC for any of your project needs. By the way they were 90 miles from my residence but took the job and did a hell of job... Sorry about 2 of the photos but this system turned them sideways...."

"James and his guys were super easy to deal with. Very down to earth and professional. It?s always kind of weird when you hire someone to come work at your home, you always hope the people are trustworthy and respectful, well look no further. Wolfgang Construction were those people. Cleaned up after every day, and really made the whole project worth my time and money. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to add a deck to their home. We will definitely call them in the future."

Garages questions, answered by experts

Indoor propane heaters are safe to use in a garage. You may be able to use an outdoor propane heater inside a garage in some instances, as long as the garage door remains open and there’s constant airflow to allow the carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide to escape. Other garage heaters include electric heaters and gas heaters.

New garage doors are often worth the investment because they improve the appearance of your home, make it more secure, and add to your property value. Installing a new garage door costs $1,200 on average, but you’ll have greater peace of mind that your garage door will function properly and keep your home safe. If you sell your home shortly after replacing your garage door, you’re expected to see close to a 100% return on investment, which is significantly higher than most home improvement projects and almost instantly makes the project worthwhile.

In some cases, a detached garage can be considered extra living space, but you will need to gain permission and comply with your local building code. Depending on where you live, you may need permits for a variety of installations, including electrical work, plumbing, and structural work. Many homeowners make the mistake of converting a garage into a living space without acquiring permits, which can result in hefty fines and even the removal of your hard work. Furthermore, a detached garage doesn’t add to the livable square footage of your home when it’s time to sell.

Yes, a single garage door with an 8-foot width is considered standard. This will be the size needed if you are upgrading a garage door in nearly any standard-sized residential garage. If you are building a garage from scratch that you intend to use for parking a large truck, SUV, or RV, you can consider extending the width to 10 feet to make parking easier.

An average two-car garage size is about 580 square feet. A common dimension for a two-car garage is 24-feet deep by 24-feet wide, as measured by the interior width. However, the manufacturing of larger vehicle sizes means many homeowners want to build bigger garages. It’s not uncommon for a two-car garage to be 30-feet by 30-feet.
