"Blake and his crew were amazing! I have them clean out 6 flower beds, replace the old mulch with rock and trimmed up the plants that I wanted to keep. Did everything I asked for and more. Will definitely use them again."

"Kulich Landscaping has been working on my lawn for nearly 20 years. They are the best. Once I found Ben --- I have looked no further for help for my yard. Ben and his excellent team have designed and planted front and back landscaping at my house, seeded my lawn, cut down dead trees, repaired my siding, and installed my edging around my patio. Last year, when I was worried about my roof, they went up and nailed down loose shingles, assuring me that I had more time before I need to replace my roof. Next year I am counting on them to save and camouflage dying boxwood that I am hesitant to replace. I heartily recommend Kulich Landscaping --- Ben is very knowledge and professional --- and every member of his crew is great."

"Big shoutout to Mark and his guys at Hoffman Concrete LLC. They took my ugly cracked patio, tore it out and poured a beautiful new concrete patio and a pathway to my parking spots in the backyard . Very impressed with the quality of work and their professionalism. Will definitely use their services in the future."

"It went very well. Tom did a great job designing a patio I never would have imagined in an otherwise useless area of our yard, helping to make more of our property functional. Tom did a great job putting up with all my questions and tweaks to the material and design, and in the end we essentially went with his original proposal, highlighting his judgement and experience with these types of projects. We have a few items to follow up with, but I will likely be using his services for future projects and landscape issues."

"I hired them to trim my hedge, take out some patio ties and remove roots from the old plants. Also, they trimmed the lower branches from my trees. I was very pleased. They arrived on time and did a great job! I highly recommend them."

"Bradan and his team did an excellent job. He kept me updated throughout the whole project. He was very punctual and made sure that our schedules lined up. Finally, he left the outside where he was working better than what he found it. He did a concrete patio and replaced a couple sections on another patio."

Patios questions, answered by experts

Yes, enclosing a patio to create a sunroom or three-season room is often a good idea that adds value to your home. This project increases your home's usable square footage and creates a versatile space for relaxing or entertaining that is filled with natural light and can be used in various weather conditions. Homeowners may see an average return on investment (ROI) of around 70%. The final value added will depend on factors such as the quality of the materials, the level of finish, and the amount of yard space that remains after the enclosure.

The cost of winterizing a screened porch can vary depending on the chosen method and the extent of the modifications required. Simple options like installing vinyl panels or using vinyl sheeting tend to be more affordable, while creating a four season room can involve higher costs due to renovation expenses. It's best to consult with professionals or obtain multiple quotes to get an accurate estimate for your specific project.

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.

Yes, adding a sunroom can increase your home's value, with a return on investment (ROI) ranging from 20% for a screen room to 50% for a three- or four-season room. The amount of value added depends on the design. Fully insulated, temperature-controlled four-season sunrooms add the most value as they can be included in the home's total living space. In contrast, simpler structures like Arizona rooms or solariums typically have a lower return as they don't count as legal living space. A high-quality sunroom can also be an attractive feature for potential buyers, especially those who enjoy gardening. The value may also be higher in warmer climates where this feature is more sought after. When deciding, consider both the potential resale value and the personal value you will get from using the room.

A screened-in porch requires maintenance to keep the screens clean and in good shape, and you may have to do some screen repair or replacement from time to time. A screen porch isn’t an all-season porch, so the weather can get in, including wind and rain.
