"Excellent job! Great communication throughout the whole process and the final product is amazing. Our concrete stairs/sidewalk looks like a piece of art! We have received many compliments from neighbors. Hardline completed our stamped concrete patio in the backyard four years ago and we still love it. We highly recommended their services!!!"

Customers say: Quality work

"We hired Tony and his crew from Form and Pour Cement Works and couldn't be happier. When my wife and I moved into our home, we quickly discovered some major drainage issues that needed to be addressed right away. Tony and his team regraded and pour a new cement patio, front sidewalk and steps to our entryway, and replaced the first 12 feet of slab in front of our garage. We were impressed with Tony's hardwork-ethic, skill, and craftsman ship, as well as the speed of their work. We now have all of our water grading issues accounted for and will be able to enjoy our new concrete work for years to come. We highly recommend Form and Pour Concrete Works! You won't be disappointed."

"I needed some concrete cut to resolve some frost heaving. Called Trinity because of their high ratings on Angie’s list. Travis returned my calls promptly and came out to estimate the job within a day. He gave me a competitive quote in writing later that day. Travis completed the work within the week and when we talked he said it was easier than he expected so he reduced the price accordingly which was not expected or necessary as I felt the original quote was fair. I would highly recommend Travis and Trinty Landscaping."

"Gardner construction returned my call the day after I requested a quote here. By the end of the week, they came out to discuss what needed completed and provided a quote. The initial quote was for a stamped concrete patio that was 28x11 ft. Everything about the job was discussed on include correcting some drain tile that came down from the eaves. The initial job was quoted as 308sqft. and was around $6,500. I confirmed this over email and inquired about a confirmed drawing and official written quote. The foreman called me on Monday a week after providing quote and said it would be better to come "stake it out" so he came that evening and said they wanted to start work the next day. He drew out the boundary lines we discussed and didn't mention changes to the cost. I had to scramble that evening to rip up my irrigation solenoid box and hosing so that it would not be in the middle of the patio when they poured. The next day they began work and after they had all the forms built, he emailed me that evening telling me the size was 465sqft and that the cost would be about 150% of our original quote at $9400. I didnt feel that there was much recourse at this point and confirmed the square footage myself prior to agreeing to changing. Ultimately, the patio looks great and turned out as desired, however I would have gotten a few other quotes had I known the final landed cost. Next job I have done will get everything in writing with a design prior to being hired."
Our team created a trench to the footings and filled it with a drain pipe and rock to channel the water to the sump pump.
This is the front of the steps, before the Gardner Construction team resurfaced the steps and replaced the sidewalk.
This homeowner wanted to replace the window and needed to repair the cracked and crumbling foundation.
The Gardner Construction team installed a new glass block window, providing additional security and a vent, and repaired the foundation.
After installing the sump pump and the drain tile system, our team repours the concrete.

"Randy came out to quote us for cement apron and asphalt driveway giving an idea of how much our neighbor's portion of the shared entry was.  He listened to our concerns regarding drainage and presented reasonable solutions.  Unfortunately, it was a bit out of our price range and something we wouldn't benefit from since we were selling our house.  He gave us the option of just replacing our apron, sidewalk, and step.  Based on how much the original concrete sunk, we found out we really only needed one step to get into the front door instead of 2.  The guys came to do the work and got it all done in one day.  They did a great job and While out checking on the guys, Randy pitched in and swung the 20 lb sledge hammer with the young ones.  A team effort where you can see how much pride Randy and crew has for each job.  Thank you and see you at our next house!

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

The cost to weld aluminum averages about $14 to $22 per pound. The type of metal factors into the overall cost of any welding project due to the cost of the materials and the expertise required to work with it. Some of the most common metals used by welders include:

  • Magnesium alloy: $7–$16 per pound

  • Low-carbon steel: $11–$12 per pound

  • Stainless steel: $13–$15 per pound

  • Copper/brass: $24–$29 per pound

  • Cast iron: $38–$79 per pound

  • Titanium: $60–$85 per pound

Since water heaters are primarily made of metal, they’re commonly accepted by scrap yards and collectors. Don’t expect to fetch a high price, though—water heaters are mostly steel and aluminum, which aren’t high-value metals. Some components are made of more valuable metals, like brass and copper, but they’re a small portion of the heater and won’t affect the price much.

Welders use a variety of methods in their trade. Different types of welding are better suited for different purposes and contexts. For example, stick welding is a versatile form suitable for most metals and alloys. The most common types of welding include:

  • Stick welding: $100–$1,000

  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Gas welding: $150 and up

  • Forge welding: $15–$25 per hour

Some welding projects, such as repairing pipes or fences, require travel, whereas others, like furniture repair, do not necessarily require the welder to come to you. Travel and overhead factor into the overall cost of your welding project. Some of the most common welding projects include:

  • Metal furniture repair: $35–$100

  • Pipe repair: $200–$1,000

  • Small gates: $550–$750

  • Fencing: $1,200–$1,800

  • Fabricated sheet metal welding: $750–$2,500

Cutting round ductwork requires precision and the right tools. A duct cutter, specifically designed for circular ducts, is ideal. First, mark the cutting line on the duct using a measuring tape and pencil. Then, position the duct cutter's blade on the marked line. Apply steady pressure, rotating the cutter around the duct. The sharp blade creates a clean, precise cut. Alternatively, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade can be used for larger round ducts. Ensure the duct is securely held in place while making the cut to prevent slips and maintain accuracy.
