"We hired Tony and his crew from Form and Pour Cement Works and couldn't be happier. When my wife and I moved into our home, we quickly discovered some major drainage issues that needed to be addressed right away. Tony and his team regraded and pour a new cement patio, front sidewalk and steps to our entryway, and replaced the first 12 feet of slab in front of our garage. We were impressed with Tony's hardwork-ethic, skill, and craftsman ship, as well as the speed of their work. "Seth responded in a timely manner, proposed several ways of solving the problem, and offered additional suggestions to help with the drainage around the stairwell, which was the source of the original damage. He was willing to look at the project holistically, and knowledgable on all aspects of the job. Many concrete companies will limit their involvement to only the concrete work itself, but most projects are rarely so clear cut. We had a portion of the wall rebuilt with new block, new rebar, and a finish parge coat. Railings were removed and reinstalled. The grade was modified using new fill, new river rock and edging."

"I started getting several bids on the chimney repair work, and right from the start I knew working with (Joe) Metro Chimney was going to be a great experience. Joe at Metro Chimney was excellent with communication! When I first requested an estimate Joe called me back same-day, wanted to understand my job and get all the details. Then he provided me a reasonable estimate quickly, and really what set him apart from the competition was Joe gave me addresses of previous chimney jobs in my area that I could go check out so I could see their company's work, before I made the decision. Also, Metro Chimney (Joe) made a few other suggestions of things I could do that would make the chimney repair last and look good. Example - Adding a limestone cap on the top (cut underneath with a drip-edge), and adding an architectural profile where the new brick started. Needless, to say I was impressed and went with Metro Chimney and I was happy I did! The work started (actually ahead of when Joe initially thought it would) which was great. This kind of work is always subject to the elements (rain), which is out of everyone's control. From the start of the project through the end Joe was in constant communication and I knew what to expect of each day/stage, what was happening, and when. I really appreciated the detailed and timely communication. The project took about 3 days for my job (tear down of top part of the chimney to roof line, building it back up, and replacing some damaged bricks lower down on the chimney that had eroded away over time). Joe's crew who preformed the job were also very courteous, friendly, and would stop and talk to me and tell me what they were doing when I asked questions. Overall, the work turned out amazing and looks great! I felt it was reasonably priced (from other estimates I got), and Joe and his staff were a pleasure to work with. "I requested estimates from several companies for the concrete project and settled on Mill City Concrete. I had seen his sign in the yards of my neighbors in the past year and I like that his company is practically in my neighborhood.
Tim responded to my initial inquiry within 24 hours, set up a meeting (a few days later), made an assessment, gave me a fair estimate and put my project on his list. When he set the date for his crew to come out, he came back over to be sure his game plan matched my wishes.
I asked for a curve in the front sidewalk to be mindful of the roots of the maple tree in the yard. The back sidewalk needed a space for drainage and I needed the space under my basement steps to be sealed. Tim and his team were really thoughtful about how the spaces would look. When it came to the basement steps, they realized that the steps were rotting, so he asked if they could just replace the wooden steps with concrete steps. This seemed like a great solution with no up charge.
Tim kept me updated on the project, what I should (or shouldn't) do and what to expect. The work was really well done. He came back for a post-work assessment and helped with one last request (at no extra cost). He and his team did great work. Not only would I recommend Mill City Concrete to anyone, but I will definitely use them again."

"Randy came out to quote us for cement apron and asphalt driveway giving an idea of how much our neighbor's portion of the shared entry was.  He listened to our concerns regarding drainage and presented reasonable solutions.  Unfortunately, it was a bit out of our price range and something we wouldn't benefit from since we were selling our house.  He gave us the option of just replacing our apron, sidewalk, and step.  Based on how much the original concrete sunk, we found out we really only needed one step to get into the front door instead of 2.  The guys came to do the work and got it all done in one day.  They did a great job and While out checking on the guys, Randy pitched in and swung the 20 lb sledge hammer with the young ones.  A team effort where you can see how much pride Randy and crew has for each job.  Thank you and see you at our next house!
