"We had 3 different things done and it took over a day to complete them all. We put in shut-offs at a sink and a new ejector pump in our basement. The biggest project was installing a water heater. We were replacing an old gravity system and went with a power vent. We selected a hybrid water heater as it sound like the best option for us and is supposed to be very energy efficient. Not sure yet on the efficiency, but the heater is on the highest temp setting and we cannot even fill a bathtub with hot water. There are only two of us in the house and it doesn't seem like it can keep up. The technician was very courteous, but he had not installed one of these hybrids before. This was not a cheap unit and we are not happy with it. Update: After my initial review, MN Plumbing and Heating sent a technician to look at our water heater. He agreed based on my assessment that the heater should be performing better. He checked all of the settings, verified the water temp and the flow rate. Everything checked out with that so he looked at our faucets. We have a bathroom that hasn't been remodeled yet and has old faucets. Sure enough the tub faucet has a very high flow rate that basically will not allow any water heater to keep up. Thanks for coming back out and taking the time to verify the installation and explaining the situation!"

They went above and beyond by coordinating the installation of several appliances at one time even though the company we purchased from said we couldn't do that. Michelle, the office manager, was wonderfully helpful in the coordination of everything, and their installers, Oakly and Jordan, did an amazing job of installing all the appliances and took the time to explain the operation to us. "The service person was very good.  My problem is that they would not give me a quote for what I needed fixed.  I had a quote from another person at $150 but was told that I would have to be persistence because sometimes he is not reliable, although a very good repairman.  SOS was rated high so I went with them even thought the service charge was $79.00 ($59 if they fix the problem).  I won't hire anyone again if I can't get a quote in advance.  So I avoided a possible issue waiting but it cost me $70."
