"Worm Drywall did an excellent job on my remodel. His drywall hanging crew did not come equipped to protect my home from the drywall dust, so I covered the floors myself. The finisher (Troy) did an excellent job of "bagging" off the room during the mud and tape process, but he was so good that there was very little dust from that process anyway. The majority of the disruption and dust generation was from the hanging process. They were super fast, but spread a lot of dust throughout the house. They should cover floors and tape off doorways in an effort to keep the rest of the home clean."

"He was very professional, friendly and did a great job! It was done really fast from start to finish and looks like it did before the ceiling ended up with holes in the drywall."

"I am a local building contractor and have used Twin Cities drywall numerous times over the past few years. Mark and his team were great to work with. The communication has always been great and they show up on time, and get jobs done within schedule. "Other contractors hardly call back especially for small jobs, but Twin City Tiling called right away and came out to view and quote the work. The small job was quickly scheduled and is now done. Looks nice!"
On average, drywall installation costs $2,000, depending on the size, complexity, accessibility, and location of the job. The typical cost range is from about $400 to $6,000, which includes materials and labor. Additional cost factors include the thickness of the drywall, the shape and height of the room, and the level of finish. The level of finish ranges from only hanging the drywall to taping and mudding the seams between panels to painting the walls.
Most drywall used for interior walls of homes is 1/2-inch thick. This size strikes a balance of being easy to handle and hang while being thick enough for the durability needed on interior wall applications.
The average cost to apply a skip-trowel drywall texture to walls is $1.25 to $2.00 per square foot. Ceilings cost slightly more because of the increased difficulty of working overhead. Additional cost factors include any drywall repairs and removal of existing textures or wallpaper.
The typical cost to repair drywall ranges from $300 to $900 for walls, and about $440 to $1,520 for ceilings. Cost factors include the size of the repairs and how extensive and specialized the repairs are. Average drywall repair cost ranges include:
Small holes (up to four inches across): $60–$200
Large holes: $50–$75 per square foot
Cracks: $60–$400
Dents: $60–$200
Ceiling repair: $320–$1,300
Water damage: $1,300–$5,550
Nail pop repairs: $60–$200
The cost to skim coat drywall is $1.15 to $1.35 per square foot. Most of the cost is labor, for the necessary skills to apply the skim coat with precision using high-quality tools. This is a job better left to the professionals for the best outcomes.
