They dumped snow on top of my mini split and the immense weight ripped the mini split off my house and stand. Now itâ s about to fall to the ground. Their price for this disaster was 3 xâ s any one else. NEVER use this company"

All were done professionally with constant communication on progress and asking for feedback. You can count on them to show up on time and keep on track. They also did a great job of cleanup and keeping the house clean while working on the project. A big thanks to project manager Kyle, mason Shawn, Trent and carpenter Thomas. "Our fireplace chimney needed cleaning, and as in the past, we called Black Goose. The technician arrived, cleaned the chimney, took some photographs, all of which took an hour. The charge was $571.59!! I was shocked!! I thought there was some mistake, so I called Black Goose, and was told it reflected their standard cleaning fee. I pointed out the technician was only here for ONE HOUR, surely we should be charged less!?! I was told again that was the fee, it was nonnegotiable. Still in shock, I paid the technician, and he left. Meanwhile, I was left with the feeling of having been robbed. As a paying customer, I feel used and disrespected by a company with a hard line pricing policy that's all about money. We've hired Black Goose before and have always been satisfied with their work, but over the years we've felt taken advantage of by their price gouging, which has only worsened. This last incident was the final straw. I've since contacted several local companies for price comparisons: on average Black Goose is $200.00 higher. We will not use Black Goose again. If you value fair pricing and customer respect, do not do business with this company."

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!. House is not level, three of five doors will not close because center of house is to high now, three rooms have wall cracks all over. Ran over my septic alarm box and destroyed it. Damaged two screens. Damaged gutters on both sides of house, soffit and fascia on one side with backhoe. Sent me final invoice and when I questioned about issues was told contract was filled and mechanical lean was put on the house the same day I got the invoice. I have contacted the Attorney General. I will contact an attorney, probably have to pay and then take Trinity to court for repair money. What a joke this guy is."

"Horrible The experience was awful with this people. I didn't know this company at all, my insurance company send me a list of 5 general contractors to take care of my house, so I pick J Benson because they were close to my house and I want it to keep the contractor local and close. So I went with them. They send an estimator like one day after the damage of the house, I signed the paperwork and two days later they send a different person because the first guy had previews commitments, so that was the first red flag. The second estimator took a lot more pics of the house and did he's first estimate, he submitted to the adjuster and it passed just fine. But then it took them almost one whole month before any one started to work in my house, not a single nail was removed or anything. Then I found out that numerous contractors were going in and out of my house with out me knowing it. Finally the work started and the job "foreman" got involved, this guy was even worst, he only called and picked up the phone when he need it something for me other ways good luck trying to get a hold of him. This guy should be FIRED and never allowed to work on the field again. One day I called him and he's answer was "what do you need, I am kind of busy right now" Awesome. Then I asked for an estimate to build a brand new bathroom in the basement. The estimator give me he's quote and we agreed on the price, so they started the project about one month after the paperwork was signed. About 80% of the work was done when I found out that the estimator "FORGOT" to add the toilet and the tub on the estimate!!!!!! How can any one do that????? So I had to came up with that $$$ And then there was the communication with office personnel. Since day one right after I signed the paperwork I offer to give them money, the estimator said "some one from the office will contact you" NO one ever did, weeks went by with out a single person contacting me about money. Finally some one did and every time we communicated there was a mistake with the numbers, every time there was an "I am sorry I forgot" Unreal this people. A couple of weeks before the project was done and I was super upset with every one involved at this point I requested a supervisor. He reached out to me and we meet at my house. He right away start asking me for money, I pretty much lost my cool there and I went off about all of the issues I was having with he's people. He's answer " I am sorry I wasn't aware of the issues" This shows how unprofessional this company is I can't believe how this people are in business not only in the twin cities but in southern Minnesota."

"very poor work quality, I had to have them come back 3 times after the initial installation to repair damages and fix the shoddy workmanship to get the roof right and it still hasn't passed Inspection. On top of that on three other occasions they were scheduled to be there and they just didnt show up at all. They left trash in my yard and in my driveway causing a flat tire on my car due to nails left all over the driveway. I even found missing shingles on a newly installed roof, how does that happen? I also found out after the fact they were TWICE as expensive as their competitors. I called 3 different contractors after getting their final bill and found this out. Twice the price for shoddy work? I'm just glad I was able to get up on the roof and check the quality of the work and demand they corrected it. My recommendation, hire someone else. There are so many other capable company's out there. You dont need to waste your time with this one. It's not worth it."
