"Al and his team are excellent to work with from the design stage, through installation and invoicing.  They are knowledgeable, respectful and just all around great guys.  They actually came in under the estimate so they watch your budget closely and only bill you for the actual items and services they provide.  I would highly recommend them!

"Metro Paving is knowledgeable, experienced, professional, courteous, on time, and they completed my project during the right weather conditions this fall. I knew what I wanted, and they gave me their opinion and priced my project accordingly. They were not the low price contractor; just the best qualified one for my project. I would recommend them for your next project."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Our concrete walkway had cracked badly over the winter, our rock beds looked terrible and our old railroad ties used for edging were rotting and out of place from snowplowing. Josh got a couple of options to me very quickly and after I chose one was able to start work within a few days. He brought out several examples of pavers to look out and pick from . His crew got the work done in two days, and Josh saw to the details, coming out several times to inspect and make improvements. The crew was polite and neat - cleaned up very well afterward. Josh did not collect final payment until he came out an did a walk through with me. He has pride of workmanship and made some changes to improve the final look that we had not even noticed."

"Highly recommend. Brian is incredibly well educated around trees/plants, what they are, where to put them, and how to care for them. It was a pleasure working with Brian, very humble, honest and genuine, very very nice guy. Him and his team planted 7 trees for us (2 maples, 3 spruce, 1 river birch and 1 locust. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the trees and services. The entire team was very respectful of the yard, zero damages, brought three trucks of equipment and trees were in an enclosed to protect them. Such a small detail but I seem to notice everything, he even went around and picked up all the utility flag markings after the job was completed."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

A pallet of pavers will cost about $300 to $700 per pallet. Each pallet covers about 56 square feet. The specific price you pay per pallet of pavers will depend on a few factors, including the type of paver you’re buying, the size and shape of the pavers, and how many pavers you need. In some cases, you’ll spend less per pallet if you’re buying in bulk for very large paver patios.

Compared to a 10x20 concrete driveway costing between $800 and $3,000, a resin bound driveway of the same size costing $3,900 to $4,000 is the more expensive option. However, the cost still makes resin a cheaper option compared to a 10x20 paver driveway costing an average of $12,000.

Driveway pavers are often worth the cost. Paver types like cobblestone, brick, and concrete are highly durable, and permeable paver options can be tremendously eco-friendly. While you may pay more for a paver driveway, you’ll see great returns from the increased curb appeal and low maintenance compared to other types of driveways.

Your city or county will have guidelines about the minimum and maximum width and length of private roads. The average private road is 12 feet wide, and length, of course, depends on your property. Requirements also depend on the amount of traffic and types of vehicles your road experiences. Check with local ordinances before planning a road on your property.

A driveway approach is the part of a driveway where the public road meets the private driveway. This section contains several key elements, including the driveway apron, the curb cut, and the end slope. Depending on the slope of the driveway, this area may also contain the trench drain.
