"This is the second time I've hired Jeremy. He is fantastic! I had multiple issues with my carpets and he fixed them all. For the second time (!) he replaced the carpet on one step because the cats had shredded it. Looks great. Was sure to answer all of my questions before he began work, didn't try to upsell me and got all the gross cat urine stains and odors out, plus ink or something in my daughter's room. I was thinking I needed to replace my carpet, but after he cleaned them, I realized they still have life left in them. Would definitely recommend him. Have had other cleaners and he is the best! Thanks, Jeremy."

"I am typically not one to post reviews, but in this case I feel it’s a must. I hired Daisy Carpet Cleaning to clean my carpet and furniture cushions, all of which are a cream color. My overall experience and satisfaction, ie customer service, quality of the work, work ethic, professional and friendly demeanor, by far outshines any previous experiences I’ve had with other companies, and believe me, I feel like I’ve tried them all over the years! Matt and Bryan explained the warranty and guaranteed customer satisfaction, used techniques that had never been done in past cleanings and even came back a second time, after the carpet dried, to work on a very stubborn area that in the past has never come totally clean. In comparison to past results and experiences with other companies, well, there is no comparison, Daisy exceeded my expectations. My search is over, I finally found a quality company who stands behind their work! And out of 5 stars, I give them a 6!"

"So-so. I didn't hear from company 4 days after ordering the service and putting my available dates into Angie's list. I reached out multiple times and finally got a hold of someone. There seemed to be little process and procedure for scheduling. In the end the carpets were cleaned just fine, but it felt more like I was hiring a distant family friend than a professional company."

"We just moved into a 10 year old house, and opted for getting the carpets professionally steam cleaned rather than replacement. There were pretty severly worn with visible traffic patterns and some stains. It did not appear the carpets had been cleaned in a long while. We had first attempted to use a rug-doctor ourselve, with unsatisfactory results. We had Jeff (owner of the company) come by and clean two living rooms downstairs and the stair case as a trial, and we liked the result so much we had him come back to do the upstairs bedrooms and hallway. He even came by on a saturday morning to accomodate our very busy weekday schedules. The carpets obvisouly dont look brand new, but it is a significant improvement. This has definitely changed our minds about needing to replace the carpet in the near future."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

If you have a lot of dust in your home, an air purifier can help draw dust, pet dander, and pollen out of the air and trap it in a filter. Air purifiers are especially nice if you have allergies or lots of pets as air purifiers that use a HEPA filter can reduce allergens by up to 99.7%.

Simple filter changes can be done DIY, but professionals should handle motor repairs, sensor issues, and airflow problems.

While an air purifier can trap mold spores and stop them from spreading around your home, it’s not the most effective solution for tackling the problem. Mold is caused by excess moisture and humidity, so there’s a good chance you have an issue somewhere else in your HVAC system that needs to be addressed.

As a general rule, HVAC air filters should be replaced every one to three months (or every 90 days). However, the ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the filter type and your home's environment. For instance, if you use thinner filters (1-2 inches deep), have pets, have household members with allergies, smoke indoors, or frequently keep windows open, you may need to change the filter as often as once a month. It's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendation as a guideline and visually inspect the filter monthly to see if it's dirty. Regular filter changes are crucial for maintaining proper airflow, good indoor air quality, and efficient HVAC system operation.

The lifespan of a whole-house air purifier or filtration system depends on several factors, but with proper maintenance, they are built to last. A whole-house system that integrates with your home's ductwork can last 10 to 15 years, or even for the entire lifetime of your existing HVAC system. To maximize the unit's lifespan, perform regular cleanings, change filters as recommended, and schedule an annual inspection to catch potential issues early. The system's longevity also depends on its frequency of use and how hard it must work to maintain your desired air quality. For comparison, smaller, portable air filter systems typically last between five and ten years.
