"My sidewalk was tilting every which way. Inline Concrete came out to take a look at it and quoted me half the amount of other estimates. I asked them why that was and they said they don’t have minimums. They will do large and small jobs for a fair price. They arrived on time, communicated the process, completed it on time. They even suggested that my son do the caulking rather than them doing it which saved me significant money. This is a stand up business!!! I will recommend them to anyone who needs to level their concrete."

"These guys were great! They were friendly and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. They looked at my steps and didn't exaggerate the problem. I was told what needed to be done and that they were going to drill a few holes to inject the limestone grout, and then did exactly what they said they were going to do. I did call around to get quotes from other companies and was quoted $3000 as a starting point. I paid a fraction of that cost and got my money's worth. If you are ever in need of concrete repair, call these guys! I'm glad I did."

"This is 2nd project I had American waterworks help me with. First was basement wall stabilizing, this one sidewalk leveling. Both crews were well knowledgeable, kind, explained procedures. Very happy with this company!"

"We had our concrete floors raised as they have settled over the years. Joey and Derrick were the team that did the raising. Fantastic professionals and excellent workmanship. They not only answered our questions but explained why and how the foam worked. I was a home builder for 10 years and can recognize good workman. These two were outstanding. If you need foundation work or concrete floors lifted, give Innovative a call. DON'T SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS."

"Joe the owner, at Metro is excellent and a great guy. He was very thorough explaining things to me and the ins and outs of a chimney. A very honest guy and will tell you what really needs to be done and not oversell you stuff you don't need. Also very prompt and responsive. He is a real mason and does quality work."

"Expert Concrete Raising, LLC, did an excellent job in raising and leveling my 50 year-old concrete patio, sidewalk, and garage apron. John (the owner) is professional, courteous, and personal. The quality of his work is excellent, including the finishing of the bore holes and joints, and his price was extremely competitive. I an very pleased with the projects he completed at my home."

"They poured a poly....something coating over our concrete basement floor. The concrete was old and uneven so we didn't expect or receive a perfectly smooth finish. They did do some grinding where they were able. Very personable, able to come in a quick time frame. Good pricing. Not the greatest attention to detail - the coating didn't into all the corners, there were some bubbles and rings left, and some splashes up onto walls. But overall we were satisfied and have enjoyed the finished floor."

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.

Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.

Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.

Address drainage issues, avoid heavy loads, and seal cracks to prevent future settling.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.
