"It went wonderfully. We have been using St. Paul Pipeworks for many years and will continue to do so. They're prompt, professional, clean and courteous. Paul explained the options for repair to help us make the best decision for the drain connection, then did a great job fixing it quickly and well."

"We had a paver patio installed in our backyard and Sirek Landscaping did an outstanding job. The patio looks beautiful. Tom was very responsive and easy to reach when issues came up. His workers were very skilled in laying down the pavers."

"I had a wet basement that had been a problem in my home for years before purchase of my home. The placement of a Sump pump and floor drain tile appears to stop wet foundation walls and floor. The basement now has potential to be nice area of use and living for years ahead. The service is a expensive purchase for homeowner but it is a needed purchase for my home. The finishing job leaves the need with more work if your basement floor was rough from the years of water damage. They did stop any future water damage for my home and it is safe to spend more for more fine finishing. They completed what was contracted."

"Fast, friendly, helpful. My main sewage line was backed up and not draining. The day I put in my project request Tony reached out about scheduling an appointment. Within 24 hours they had come out to the house, cleaned the roots from my main line, and water was draining again. Can't beat the price. Thanks team!"

"Responsive to initial call and came on time for estimate. Looked over the situation with water leaking from above. Gave two estimates...one to deal with damage caused by water coming in and the other a complete drain tile installation. I think he could tell I was not wanting to go that far and the quote just to clean up the area and do some minor waterproofing was very high as I don't think that is what they want to be doing. From a general handyman I got some other ideas about shutting off the irrigation in that area and also not to expect a well room to be totally dry...in fairness Randy gave me his solution but I felt it exceeded what I wanted to do. Only by putting in the drain tile could he guarantee the job. I'm sure if you have a wet basement problem he would do a good job of installing the drain tile."

"He did a great job. He rebuilt my rusted and leaking drain trap which was quite a job in this old house. He also cleaned the drain line and now it drains better than it has in the 25 years I lived here."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

You do not have to purchase a storm door if you have a fiberglass door. Fiberglass doors offer numerous advantages, including durability and the ability to stand up to harsh conditions such as low or high temperatures. Fiberglass doors also have excellent insulation properties, so you don’t have to add on a storm door if you’re looking for better temperature regulation inside your home.

Most homeowners can expect to pay between $186 and $680, with the cost of installing storm doors averaging $432, including both materials and installation. Labor costs range from $75 to $400, depending on the complexity of the job; however, paying for a professional helps save you time and ensures proper installation. If you go the DIY route, you could spend anywhere from $250 to $1,000 for just the labor kit, which includes the door and hardware. You’ll also need to budget for tools, like a power drill and level, if you don’t already have them.

To maintain a storm door's functionality and appearance, you should regularly clean the glass and frames, lubricate the hinges and other moving parts, and inspect the seals for any signs of wear.

While sometimes used interchangeably, screen doors and storm doors have key differences. Screen doors are simple structures, typically composed of just a frame and a screen, designed to keep out bugs while allowing air circulation. In contrast, storm doors are heavier and more complex, built to protect your home's main entry door from weather and intruders. They usually feature an aluminum frame with interchangeable tempered glass and screen panels, allowing you to switch between ventilation and insulation. A storm door offers more protection and versatility but generally costs more than a basic screen door.

The benefits of a storm door include providing extra protection against severe weather, improving your home's insulation, and helping to keep pests out. They also add an extra layer of security to your entry door and can enhance your home's curb appeal.
