"I just recently had a duct cleaning done by a reputable company after moving into another home. The time and manner in which they performed the service was well beyond what I had experienced with Top Dog. So, that is why this complaint is being filed after more than 1 yr. Top Dog advertised (and still do) $99 for 10 ducts and $15 for each additional duct. Also, they said there would be an additional nominal charge for being outside of their normal area. My home had 14 ducts, so the service charge should have been $159; however, they charged $400 plus $30 tax. In addition for the exorbitant bill, only one guy was there for 1 hr, failed to clean several of the ducts, and instead of using a large vacuum hose placed at the furnace plenum and compressed air via the vents, they only used a small brush ad vacuum hose via the vents. Clearly, I received unsatisfactory service (now that I know how it should be done) and was grossly overcharged. Its outrageous that Top Dog has an A+ rating with the BBB. I would never recommend their service and disgusted that they are still in operation."

"After a Coit truck left my driveway following some upholstery cleaning, I found an oil spot on my pavers where the truck had been parked. I called and was told that they could easily remove the spot and would come back to do this at the end of the week. No one showed up or called with an update. This was at the end of April. It is now near the end of June. I have called them at least 6 or 7 times to find out if they would come to remove it. During that period I think they have come either 2 or 3 times to work on this spot which was supposedly easy to remove. I always had to call them since they never left a note or called to say they had been here. The last time they were here was 5 or 6 days ago. The spot is certainly less visible, but it’s still there despite their assurances that it was totally gone. Will not use Coit again. Ever."

"I used Northwest Carpet Cleaners recently and am very disappointed in the quality of their service. They were very kind people; however, the quality was not good. They left me with dirty carpet after paying $429. The high traffic areas of my carpet were pretty dirty, and they were unable to clean it. I took out my own carpet cleaner and was able to get a lot more dirt up. I called them and told them I was very unsatisfied. They were very apologetic and came back and attempted to clean it more. They were still unable to get it clean to my liking and eventually ended up telling me it was simply just “wear and tear” ...which I find to be an excuse. My carpet is only two years old. They also did not suck up enough water they sprayed on the carpet and now my carpet smells like dirty wet carpet. The carpet also feels like it is still dirty and like there was still chemicals/soap left on the carpet. It took much longer for my carpet to dry than it has in past when I've used other carpet cleaners, or even when I‘ve cleaned it myself. Unfortunately, I will now need to spend more money to have a “Professional” come out to clean my carpet. SO VERY disappointed and will not recommend or use their service again! I am updating this review with more disappointing information...It has been 3 days since Northwest was out and "cleaned" my carpet. My basement smells so dirty and moldy that I will need to call a true carpet professional and spend more money to have them come out and clean my carpets the way they should have been...I'm so disappointed! I added some pictures to my review...these are after pictures. the dirty water is what I pulled up out of the carpet, after using my own personal carpet clearner twice after they left."
