It was a hard session of bargaining but we eventually arrived at an agreeable price. Since then, the old siding has been taken down, any decayed plywood removed or scraped clean, and the new fiber cement board put up in its place. The work was completed 2 days ahead of estimated schedule, the final product looks excellent, the crew had a great attention to detail, they left me with exterior paint and spot treatment tools for future use and reference, and made sure I was 100% satisfied with the siding and the trim before the job was completed. "Zak, the sales person does an awesome job explaining and showing the products they offer. They were upfront about any possible delay in getting the project started due to the horrible hail damage that occurred at the same time when the windows for our home arrived in the warehouse. Communication is ok for the most part, could be better. I found myself having to take more initiatives to call for an update. They have been responsive to my calls and any new concerns i have after the project was completed. My biggest issues was, I was told our project will only take roughly a week to complete (windows, sidings, and front door) as weather permits, but it took over 2 weeks and a couple extra days to complete. The contractor that came out was a two men team. They were great, and really took their time to make sure the project was completed smoothly and with quality, but it took way longer than we had want it to. And then once it was done, the dumpster stayed for another few days, and we never knew when they were going to come and pick it up."

"Ivan installed new vinyl siding and three new windows in our home. When the old fiberboard siding was removed, lots of wood rot and poor insulation were uncovered due to poor workmanship done by the original builder. Ivan fixed all the problems and we are so very happy with the result. Our house looks great and our furnace runs way less since the drafts are gone. Ivan and his crew perform high-quality work; they are honest, friendly and their communication was excellent. "All went well with the roofing and I would give an A rating for the roof. C or B rating for siding. It looks good but the sub-contractor used didn't pay much attention to detail and was a know it all so Walker had to have him come back a few times and fix things. Each time siding guy came back he only did a few of the things I had mentioned but didn't complete all. Eventually Walker finished all. I would hire again especially for the roof but would ask for a different sub-contractor for the siding. Gutters work turned out good. The Salesman and Job Foreman were excellent to work with. In this day and age its hard to find a good price, quality, and reliability all in one company and Walker did as good as any other company would have I believe and I have had experience with other companies and also being in the trades myself."

Their pricing was comparable to other estimates, but their proactive communication and responsiveness to my questions along with their follow-through until solid completion is significantly better than most other contractors I have had over my years of home ownership.
