This project was on time, on budget, and we are thrilled with the results. Mike's team found some structural issues in the breezeway remodel that were not apparent before demolition and when he contacted me with the bad news, he already had several options, estimated costs, and had consulted with the city inspector to ensure the options would work. They did a good job keeping the space clean at the end of the day, respecting our living space, and paying attention to quality workmanship. "Colin built and stained a custom designed 10x12 pergola as part of our backyard landscaping. The pergola has trim on the bottom and top, and custom lattice on one and a half sides.  We wanted the pergola to run part of the way along the house side to cover the water meter but still give access to the meter if needed by the meter reader, and Colin ingeniously determined that the side could be hinged and have hidden latches, allowing it to swing open if needed.
He was open to our ideas for the design, and added suggested options for how to proceed. He checked in with us as the work proceeded to double check the spacing of the top pieces of wood, the height of the top, the stain color, etc, which was really helpful to achieving the end result we had envisioned. 
He was punctual, polite, friendly, cleaned up each day, and his workmanship is excellent.

"This was the second project that I have hired TCH to do. It's so nice to be able to hire one contractor and have the same people do all of the work (plumbing, carpentry, tile work, etc.,) instead of having to hire a different company for each part of the project, or have a company sub out the work. TCH has the best personnel, always punctual and very cooperative. Regularly checking with me to be sure the job gets done the way I expected. They were very careful to protect all areas from dust and debris and made an exceptional effort to clean up at the end of each day and when the job was completed.
