I contacted Hentges Carpentry for an exterior door install during the first week of March for an exterior door install after finding them through Home Advisor. Raine, the owner, came and gave me an estimate and luckily was able to get to our project later that week even with the snow and cold. I purchased the door and new lock hardware the day of the estimate although he could have ordered it for me also. He and his coworker Chris arrived on time and got right to work. They did an excellent job and even replaced some rotten wood beneath the door once it was removed. They worked quickly although I never once felt the that they rushed through the job. They were both very friendly and kept me informed throughout the project with what they found and the methods they would use to fix it. The cost was right on par with the other estimates I recieved. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone needing work! Thank you for your hard work fellas!

Most of the work was very good. A couple bi-fold doors did not close and wanted an additional $400 to come out and shave a 1/2 inch off and fix his mistake. Be aware of the "change order." It was something he "missed" in his bid, as the house was exactly the same when he initially came out. The invoice increased $1000!

The door looks perfect, Raine did a great job. I'm having him come back to do another door next week. Raine responded quickly to my request for a bid. Raine was so great and his work is just amazing. He was so helpful, I bought the wrong door and Raine didn’t reschedule he simply put the door in his truck we met at Menards he helped me return the door and find the right door and the right screen door. He was efficient and kept me in the loop with everything he was doing. I will be doing more business with Raine and his company

Raine was very easy to communicate with and he really knew what he was doing. He got to my house on time and got right to work. He did a fantastic Job installing my door very professional and clean job. Raine did a good job of cleaning up afterwards and got rid of all the junk.
