Interior walls don't require insulation. However, there are a couple of reasons you may consider adding it in some situations. It’s technically possible to install loose-fill cellulose insulation without a blower, but it’s much more time-consuming, tedious, and dangerous. Installing insulation after the vapor barrier allows for any moisture to exit the walls for better ventilation.
