The Pro Energy audit was an education. Checking for gas leaks, identifying insulation and air filtration issues, Doug is extremely thorough and professional. Although he knows all about high-end, cutting-edge HVAC technology, he can identify simple changes that an average homeowner can do on a budget. Also diagnosed a sewer gas leak of which I was unaware. He offered a lot of useful tips that I am acting on. VERY happy I invested in this audit.

Having the energy audit was a really great experience. We knew we had issues with air leakage but seeing them really lets you know what s happening. More surprising is the areas that are found to be leaking. We have a closet that causing major issues and we would have never known. We have improper insulation over a soffit area for a built in shelf area and that is causing a lot of cold in the upstairs too. We would have never known without the audit. We are excited to get the report so we can see exactly what is recommended to remedy all of our problem areas for a more efficient home.

I recommend this home energy audit to every homeowner. Doug is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his work. The report that is generated is comprehensive and helpful in determining what to prioritize in future home energy improvements. It is a good investment.

I choose ProEnergy because they would have an unbiased opinion as they were not in the insulation business. I was very pleased with the whole process and would recommend Doug to other people. It was a good experience and well worth the money.

Doug was amazingly thorough in performing the audit. He spent at least 2 hours going through the house and analyzing windows, doors, furnace, water heater, etc. He found a small gas leak at the water heater and determined the water heater was so old it could let go at any minute. After the audit, he came back to review the results of his audit with me. He had compiled a huge report with photos, charts, etc, and spent a solid two hours reviewing all of his findings with me. Doug was incredibly professional throughout the entire process and answered all of my questions regardless of how basic they were. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I wanted an energy audit from someone not trying to sell me a product. Doug was able to help us determine where we could best spend our money in order to maximize our efficiency. We found some easy fixes and a couple of bigger projects. However, I was happy and surprised to find that I did not need to buy new windows. The cost of this audit was money well spent!

I'm not sure what more can be said about Pro Energy but I will happily reiterate that Doug spent hours going through our home, explaining issues as he discovered them and answering all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. Doug was great. He worked with me on Saturday, which was really helpful. His report was very thorough, and he enjoyed teaching me about my house. I learned a lot, and he did a great job or prioritizing my needs so that I was not overwhelmed by all the changes I need. He also helped me find rebates I was not aware of. Highly recommended!

Doug King was very knowledgeable and thorough in his energy audit of our home. It included the standard depressurization of the house (which accentuates the leaks which you can spot with the help of a smoke pen), and use of a thermal camera. But what really made the whole experience worthwhile was Doug's expertise in what goes into an energy efficient home, and his ability to explain each component as it applied to our old 1920s home. Most useful of all was the report that he went through with us the following week showing, by priority, what we could do to improve things.

He was on time and very thorough and professional. He explained everything and showed me what he referred to and gave me very VALUABLE information.
