He isolated the area with a plastic doorway screen from the rest of the house. A third party examined the asbestos level in the air when he was done and it well below permissible levels. He even removed some asbestos containing floor tile for me for free and then showed me how to set up the joint fittings ( elbows, tees, etc) for the new fiberglass insulation.
