Customers say: True professional

"Colette is a very personable person and I really enjoyed working with her. She is a wonderful listener and really took her time to show me options in person after carefully walking through my house to get a sense of who I am. She even made me some drawings as I told her I am a very visual person that has had bad experiences in the past. Seeing this was the first time I have ever hired an Interior Designer I would say it was extremely successful! The guest bedroom is transformed and I absolutely love it!!!! Thank you Colette!!! You will be hearing from me again!"

"Stradinger (Tim) & Bobby far exceeded our expectations! Never hired a contractor before. They did the design; executed the construction; always were prompt, courteous & patient with us (VERY PATIENT). Despite the near zero weather, they were here. The attention to detail and quality were exceptional! Stayed within budget which afforded us the ability to put in new flooring; new laundry room; insulate the attic and many details & ideas that really makes our home OUR HOME. I would strongly consider & recommend Stradinger Building to EVERYONE!! COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!...THANKS TIM & BOBBY!!!"

"Patricia Interiors is the best design company I’ve ever hired. They were amazing. Very attentive to my needs and budget and always available when I had questions. The quality of my draperies is top notch and the other elements they designed to go with them were perfect. I get compliments all the time!"

"Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.
A true professional and great person to work with.  The design was spot on and my wife and i were very impressed.  Thank you Jill.

Small jobs welcome

"I initially met and worked with Scott on our extensive home renovation. He was our project coordinator as well as a creative and talented carpenter and all around skilled handyman. There really wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. Scott was great at repurposing our materials and coming up with thoughtful solutions. From new walls, ceilings, hardwood floors, bathrooms, new exterior deck, and custom bunks…Scott did it all. As an interior decorator, and knowing Scott’s talents, I pulled him in to work on a large client job. Again, his project management skills along with carpentry talents, really brought the project to life. Custom lighted wood walls, adult bunk room and amazing golf/pub room were just the highlights. Scott always left the job site clean and organized and his client communication is unsurpassed. He was always positive and proactive. There is no one I would rather work with. Interior Design and Decorating questions, answered by experts

Interior decorating services usually include an initial consultation to discuss your needs and determine a style and budget that works for your space. From there, your professional designer could offer a wide range of services, including the following:

  • Determining a useful layout of furniture and decor in your home

  • Choosing flooring, paint colors, trim, and other accents

  • Coordinating color schemes and design styles throughout your rooms

  • Choosing, purchasing, and coordinating the installation of furniture

  • Choosing and installing pillows, wall hangings, and other decor throughout your home

The main difference between a home stager and an interior designer is that the former creates temporary, generally appealing spaces, while the latter creates personalized design choices for your permanent home. A home stager seeks to depersonalize your home while also showing off the best features of the home to potential buyers. An interior designer works with you to infuse your personal style into the decor in your home. You’ll typically only hire a local home stager when selling your home.

Services include layout planning, material selection, lighting design, and appliance placement to optimize the space.

Whether hiring an interior designer is worth the cost depends on your budget, the scope of the project, and your own design and project management skills. For larger projects or those beyond your DIY skills, an interior designer is often a worthwhile investment. The benefits include realizing the best layout, functionality, and decor for your lifestyle and taste; managing the project to keep it on track and within budget; serving as a point of contact for contractors; accessing discounts from suppliers; and assisting with home staging for a sale.

Current trends in custom furniture design are heavily influenced by a desire for sustainability and functionality, often incorporating reclaimed or eco-friendly materials. There is also a focus on multifunctionality, allowing pieces to adapt to various needs and spaces.
