"Overall I'm pleased with the work. It turned out well, and the crew was in and out in a day. I had a tree removed, and there were no signs that a tree was there, clean up impressed me. I replaced the tree with a ten-foot Blue Spruce, and in my opinion, could have been better selected, or even placed differently to hide bare spots from incoming traffic, but I'm hopeful the pine comes into its own. Since I've only been in the home 11-months, I knew that taking care of an eyesore around the cable box in the yard next to the driveway needed attention too. The crew removed the railroad ties, leveled the area, and added arborvitaes and river rock, and it looks a thousand times better. I had used Design One on a project at my prior home where they removed a wood patio and replaced with pavers, and planted a row of arborvitaes and laid river rock. I believe that the result from said service added significant value since the home sold in four hours. Travis Perdue took care of the design, logistics making both experiences stress free. His attention to detail and knowledge is unsurpassed, and his professionalism from the cradle to the grave is outstanding. "Eric and his crew were extremely professional. They were prompt to start the day early and worked extremely hard at a very difficult job. We had a lot of brickwork done, but before anything could happen they had to do a lot of tear out. They rebuilt our porch, put in a walkway and built landings going to our driveway, bricked the area in front of our garage and ten had to curve around to the back to put in our patio. They got it all right and it looked perfect. We are extremely happy with the job that they did and would highly recommend them to others."

"I had Brooks Landscaping do my first home back in 2005. It was a new build and had nothing. I was also a little nervous about hiring someone as it was my first home, first time paying someone for something like this. All new to me. I had a couple quotes done and Brook's price was good but he also helped me figure out what to put in. I was clueless. He did a retaining wall, a bunch of neat looking shrubs and grass. Looked great. 8 years later the retaining wall never "dipped". If you look at some retaining walls out there, you'll see it, it's like they sink into the grass. Brooks said he reinforces it so that wouldn't happen, and it never did. The bricks in the wall are even still glued (or something) together. When I sold the house last fall my friends joked I should dig up the shrubs and take them. Lol. Nice stuff.

My parents also had him do a paver walkway on their house over on Grosse Ile maybe in 2008. He also made their driveway wider with pavers, very nice. Years down the road, even with cars parked on it, the pavers haven't sunk.

So when I moved into my current home (new to me home, 1975 build) I called Brooks. I wanted my driveway widened like my parents. Just got it done a month ago. Looks great. Brooks even told me a couple real easy things I could do to make my house look better (I wanted his opinion since he made my last house look great). Very good stuff.

So, in closing. Don't worry about this guy. He shows up, he works, he's friendly and will do a good job that lasts. Later this fall I'm going to have him back to fix up my back yard.
