"We apologize that this did not end up being a positive outcome. Your initial. the review was nothing but positive comments You then parked your boat and a trailer on the driveway soon after the driveway was paved and it left indentations. You insisted that it was poor workmanship on our end. It takes asphalt 6-12 months to fully cure meaning that it is still soft and pliable. The drive was done in the peak of the summer and higher temperatures make the new asphalt even more vulnerable to these types of incidents. We advise putting a piece of plywood under the tires if you are going to park anything that will be sitting for an extended."
"Dan I am sorry we did not meet your expectations . The crew was there in the morning to ready the driveway and spent several hours during the morning. We did come back after we had paved another drive . Asphalt is a hot product and must be laid down quickly for a nice finish so its a fast process when we are paving. We ordered more than enough asphalt to put down on the driveway . The crew has been doing this for a very long time so there would of been no need to put less asphalt down than what was needed. Most parts of the drive have 3 inches of asphalt and thats our mistake because we did in fact have to much asphalt . The crew cautioned off the driveway and it was removed the next day which was not advised by Kca. The drive was done in July 2020 and the heat that week was in the 90's. An amazon truck delivered a package the next day and being that the barricade was taken down the truck pulled into the u-turn drive and left tire marks everywhere since the drive was not set up. Dan had called and said the driveway needed replaced and it was poor workmanship on our part. The guys went over there and they started to do the repairs and Dan came out yelling and insisted that the drive needed replaced and to stop doing what they were doing. I advised the workers to just be calm and respectful and continue doing as they were. The crew heated up the tire marks and rolled them out. When reheating asphalt that has already been laid the color changes and makes it visible where the repairs have been made. As for a warranty there is not many companies that warranty resurfacing and we did not give a 1 year warranty on the drive. We warranty new replacement drives at 5 years and not resurfacing due to the many variables. We came out there 3 times to try and help as much as we could but the workers came back and said there's nothing we could do and said there is nothing wrong with the drive. I have posted photos of Dan's drive in the photo album. Sorry we couldn't please you we tried our best, Ken"
"We tore out a concrete pad for mike. The quote was price matched from another paving contractor since they did not show. The quote was to remove and replace with asphalt on the existing base. The base underneath was soft when we tore the drive out. We told the homeowner that it would be additional to dig out and replace the base. Mike said it was outside his budget. We went out of the way to dig out 50% of the drive that we thought was the worst sections at no cost to try and help mike out. We followed the contract and even went out of the way to do additional work at no extra cost. We came back to fix the area that was in question."
