"A couple of weeks ago, we noticed a faint smell of gas from our fireplace. We checked Google for contractors, as one does, and found Lil Joeâ s. Joe was available to come out that day to address the smell and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure the leak was fixed. He added a shutoff valve to the fireplace gas line in the basement, and replaced the inner workings of the fireplace itself. We then proceeded to order gas logs from Joe and he installed those just last week. His prices are fair, he is extremely clean, and his work is fantastic. I would suggest Lil Joeâ s to anyone that is in need of a gas fireplace install or maintenance!"

Many refrigerators have a dial with numbers ranging from 1 to 5 or 1 to 10, with the lower numbers representing colder temperatures and the higher numbers representing higher temperatures. Window AC units don’t use a lot of electricity in comparison to central AC systems. That’s why window air conditioners are more energy efficient for cooling individual rooms or small spaces. The average window AC unit runs on 500 to 1,400 watts of electricity, whereas central AC systems use more than 3,500 watts.

While the rating will tell you how many watts the refrigerator needs at the peak of its cycle, it requires additional wattage to start. At the bare minimum, you’ll need a 1,500-watt generator to get the fridge up and running after a blackout. A 2,000-watt generator should be sufficient for most home refrigerators.

You’ll need to unhook your old appliance but once you do, you can recycle it, donate it, sell it, reuse it, trade it in, or give it as a gift (provided it still works or is easy to fix). Most of the time when people are switching their appliances it’s either because the old one broke or they are upgrading. If the item is broken, the best option is to recycle it. This may carry a cost based on the appliance or its weight. If the appliance still works, you may choose to sell it or gift it. What you do with your old appliance ultimately comes to whether it’s still functioning.
