"I had a bad computer board in my oven. they said they would not cover it because they found a roach. This is Florida we have some roaches. i do not have a bug problem. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

Yes, cinder blocks must be primed before painting. Without primer, your paint won't stick to the surface of the blocks. You should use a bonding and filling primer which fills all of the small pores of your blocks. Once the primer dries, you'll have a smoother surface to work with and your paint will stick easily to the blocks.

Generally, you should paint your bathroom every three to four years. Seven years is usually the maximum time you should allow between refreshes. How often you should repaint your bathroom depends on the type of material you used on the walls or ceiling, the average moisture and humidity level in the room, and the quality of the paint.

The most common reason paint peels is because moisture gets trapped underneath it and disrupts its bond with the wall. Other causes for peeling paint include a poor original paint job, painting over a surface with dirt or other foreign material on it, or applying paint coats that are too thick.

In many cases, you can use a roller to paint detached cabinet doors and cabinet sides more quickly. However, expect at least some brush or spray gun work to complete the project, especially if your cabinets have complex insets, which are difficult to paint with a roller.

Use at least two coats of paint for exteriors for better coverage and added durability. When painting lighter colors over darker colors, a third coat of paint may be necessary to achieve full coverage of your home’s exterior. A durable paint specifically designed for the material of your home’s exterior will last the longest.
