"The work looks excellent and that’s particularly amazing because the topography created some challenges. Their work transformed my property from looking dilapidated to looking well-maintained. It is a joy to walk the professional spacious newly designed paths replacing a tiny one I had before. It is a joy to walk the beautiful driveway, replacing the previous crumbling substrate. I had an especially positive experience with the estimator Mark, who not only wrote up the project in detail and expertly, but also drafted a drawing of the work to be done that blew out of the water anything received by the other companies with whom I received bids. Due to his excellent work, and shepherding the project through to completion, which included several visits, Mark really outdid himself and helped the workers to know exactly what needed to be done. The fact that he kindly came back and fixed up some concrete cracks and holes in my steps really blew me away. He also promised to return with some additional dirt. These things demonstrate the commitment to leave the customer fully satisfied with the best job there can be. The workers were punctual, nice, did each of their aspects of the job professionally, and cleaned up well afterward. I was very impressed with the job and am extremely happy with the results. "Jason did an amazing job. Our bathroom was in rough shape, and we brought Jason in to completely gut and redo it. It now looks like something that belongs in a spa. He started very close to his original timeline that was laid out. We didn't have weeks go by without any progress, workers were here almost every day. "Previous piering companies had tried and failed to solve our sinking foundation problem with undersized piers. After researching available options and getting quotes from a few companies, we chose Expert House Movers to excavate around our foundation, install custom made piers to support the weight of our house (full masonry, stone foundation, slate roof and terazzo floos) and spray a rubberized coating on the below ground portion of our foundation to stop future water penetrations in our stone foundation. They showed up promptly, performed the necessary work in a timely matter and were careful of the landscaping we wanted to keep. The job itself took longer than anticipated mostly due to additional work needed once the foundation was exposed (tuckpointing, new window wells, etc). There was minor damage to the sprinkler system and the water service line, but we were compensated for the damage by EHM. My only complaint was the amount of old drainage pipes and broken concrete that was left on site during the work and not removed until the end of the job. <br />show more
