Great. Very good job and excellent to work with. All posts were replaced and set in concrete.

Their man did come at the appointed time to take a look at what needed to be done, as had some other contractors. The others never got back to me. I had to call Professional Home Repair about six times in the next 12 days to get a proposal for replacing four fence posts and one panel but ultimately did get one. Went to their office and paid 50 percent of the stated fee. Their men did come on the day they were supposed to. They determined that two more panels needed to be replaced and that getting the old concrete out would require more than had been anticipated. But over the next 24 hours they did get the job done and it seems to be satisfactory. However, when the job was finished and it was time to settle up I was very involved in dealing with another problem. It was only a day later that I realized that I had been charged for three additional panels, not two--and paid $160 more than I should have. (They did replace three panels but the cost of one of them was in the original proposal). I got in touch with Chelsey about this. She told me it would take a few days to arrange a refund. I had to keep after her, but did get a refund check from her two weeks later. It turned out that that check bounced, and my bank charged _me_ a $15 fee for depositing it. If not for this sour end to the job my ratings above would have been quite different. Very disappointing. Can't recommend this outfit.

Professional Home Repair (PHR) was pleasant when they phoned me, and set up an appointment time for Wednesday, 10/02, between 11-1. At the time of installation, I asked if the person who was installing the dishwasher was a licensed plumber. Her reply was yes. After 1pm I phoned PHR and asked where the installer was. She said she would contact him and phone me back.
She phoned back and said they had problems and that they would be at our home between 2-4p.m. After 4 pm I again phoned PHR and asked where was the installer? She sounded surprised and said she would phone him. She called me back and said they would be there shortly. They arrived between 4-5p.m.
In the meantime, my husband and I removed all the ceiling tiles from the basement so they could get to the water and waste lines (directly under the washer). The installer and a young man entered the home. I asked for a business card, he said he didn't have one. I asked him if he was a licensed plumber, he said yes. I then showed him the old Maytag (still under the counter) and the new Maytag sitting next to it in the box. I then showed him the water and drain lines that were connected to the old Maytag, in the basement, directly under the old Maytag, with the shutoff valve. He looked at it, said "This is a big job". I asked him why, and he said the old shut off valve and the approximate 3-4 feet of copper line had to be taken out and replaced with a new PEX line and the valve needed to be replaced, plus the electrical wasn't up to code, meaning I needed to have an electrical box put in.
I said OK, get started, it was already 7 hours past when I first expected them to be at my home. He told me he has to ge to Home Depot to get the PEX line. (A licensed plumber with no lines?).He stated that PeX was much more reliable, easier to place in, but was very expensive, but cut the time of installation. So off he went to get some PEX line. He needed about 3-4 feet, but came back with a 10-12 feet of PEX line. (As a side note, he took all of my copper line, plus the copper shut off valve, plus the extra PEX line.) He then put an electrical box in (took him about 10-15 minutes). Then he shuts off the power, moves out the old Maytag, then goes to put in the new Maytag and asks me, "Did ABC sell you the install kit?" I said yes, and that the female office personal had me go through the list of items it contained. He then took the kit and said, "You're missing the very small piece that all Maytag dishwashers need to install them. ABC knows that, now I'll have to go back to Home Depot. So off again he goes to Home Depot. When he comes back he finally gets the new dishwasher in, has a little water put in, hits the discharge button, and then tells me the bill is $600.00. Yup, your reading this right, $600.00. When he left I was so upset I had to go to bed. The next morning I tried the brand new Maytag washer, and no lights, no nothing. My husband and I looked at what little material we had to try to find a reset button, thinking that was all it needed since the "licensed plumber" put it in. We even looked on the internet. No reset button. We phoned back PHR, told them it doesn't work, never was checked out. The plumber (who I still don't have a card or his name), came, went down stairs and said "someone" had plugged it into the wrong socket (which I told my husband to try to reset it by unplugging it and plugging it back in. He then came upstairs, and I asked him to start the dishwasher to see if it will work. Well, he tried, and no it did not work. He said it looked like the front panel was shot, and that wasn't his job, and to call ABC. I phoned ABC, told them the whole story, and they said they would send out their dishwasher repair person, who was Bill Leech Repair Service. They were professional, came when they told us they would be here, and spent 30 minutes going over the panel and then the wiring. Mike (the licensed repair person), came back up and told us the bad news. It was wired WRONG the day before and said he would rewire it correctly. He rewired it correctly, but the panel still did not work. I asked him if by wiring the dishwasher incorrectly, could that have caused the panel to malfunction. He said he could not be sure, but it was a possibliity. For all this aggravation I HAD TO PAY $600.00, not the other way around. Not only that, when PHR jimmied in the new Maytag, he showed me how it was uneven on the left and right sides of the washer. He told us it was our cabinets, but when we had a different installer come with another Maytag for our replacement, HE used a leveler, and the dishwasher is even all the way around AND it works!

When they were done I had to rip out all the drywall, the tub surround, replace the electrical, the vent exhaust tubing, the shower piping.
There was not one single thing they did that was done right, everything needed to either be totally redone or partially redone. Now I look at my receipt for supplies and there are supplies on there that walked out the door when they didand this was before I stopped payment on the check.
Response from Professional Home Repair
